OtterBox Galaxy S23 Commuter Series Case - Black

This case is my second. It fits perfectly, was well made and protected my phone thru many drops!

Around 2 and a half years later, I decided to come back and write a review. I have dropped my phone a ridiculous number of times (probably in the triple digits at this point). I have dropped it on carpet, on hardwood, on dirt, on grass, on tile, on concrete, on pavement, on gravel, and a myriad of other surfaces. At one point I dropped my phone off a second story balcony, where it bounced off a bird feeder and landed on a a sidewalk. The case is finally broken, but my phone is still great. My phone still works and is (mostly) undamaged. The little bit of damage that is there (a few little nicks in the side of my phone) is likely my fault, because the case is cracked and doesn’t perfectly sit flush with the phone anymore, but I continued to drop it afterwards so of course there wouldn’t be optimal protection. The case also has a good grip. The case material feels sturdy. The case sits over the phone’s buttons on the side and doesn’t interfere with their use/function in any way. It has a little piece that covers the charging port that you pull down when charging, which I love. It stops dirt, dust, and other grime from getting in there and destroying the port. The case is extremely easy to pull on and off. It has an upper lip around the screen so the phone doesn’t make direct contact with a surface when you lay it face down. I was also able to attach a popsocket to the case. Overall, it is a fantastic case and has served me well.

Very good case. I had a phone i could not charge because the charge port got fouled from carrying in a phone holster upside down. I got an earlier version of this case with a port cover when I got my new phone. After about 2 years the port cover broke away and I lost it. This case has a much better port cover. The case is hard plastic so does not grip quite as well as the old one but it looks good,is still slim and the button extensions are easy to feel and manipulate

LOVE this case. My old one was thick and heavy. This is nice and it protects my phone well.

Tough and sturdy protector. Slides nicely in and out of pockets. Easy to hold. Not bulky at all. My one downside is the cut out shape for the camera and flashlight. I would prefer to to align with each lens and light to look seamless. Would recommend.

Decent, solid, although when dropped my screen still cracked

Husband is very picky about his phone cases, but quite likes this one. Truly is pocket friendly; doesnt get stuck to pockets or friction pull. Not too bulky. Adds a little weight and size but otterbox used to be muuuch heavier and box-y.
