This grinder easily stands up to the more expensive grinders I've seen. It's got different compartments and it takes no time at all to grind. Plus it's pretty cool to look at!!!

After reading the reviews and being attracted by the pretty shiny thing, I figured that I'd give it a go.It arrived very promptly in an almost ridiculously oversized amazon box stuffed with paper so it took me a minute to find the well camouflaged product box hiding in a corner.Despite the very handy review that shows this bit of kit sat next to a can of pop, I was still surprised by just how big this boy is.With not one bit of plastic in sight (apart from the handy wee scraper) it definitely feels like it will last and could easily be used in a self defence type scenario.The teeth are metal, very sharp and plentiful so grinding time is greatly reduced. It won't grind your herb to a powder but cuts it up nicely.While the easy access door is an awesome idea, and the swaying factor in deciding to buy this model, it's not actually that practical. One, you have to fill the very spacious storage cavity enough to cover the window mechanism completely in order for it to be holding much of anything when you open it and, two, it kind of acts like a dumper truck so you may get more than you bargained for when it comes to distribution.This is a minor thing as the grinder itself works that well and looks so good that the novelty of having a window there is enough without it being that functional.Thanks to the mahoosive storage well and the effectiveness of the teeth, what would normally take my arthritic hands half an hour and a lot of effort to grind now takes literally 4 minutes and minimal effort. That's including a bit of a clean.A common problem with all of my other grinder's has been wastage from bits making their way out of the grinder and on to my jeans, floor etc. So far, there's been zero mess and no waste which was something that I hadn't really considered before buying this product, I'd just accepted it as a fact of life. So that's nice.The trap at the bottom is very effective, even after 2 days I've collected a very visible amount of dust and the scraper is a considerate touch.If the window function had been a tad more effective and practical, an easy 5 stars.As a functioning grinder, a 5 star product at a reasonable price.

Item is not too bad..grindes stuff pretty good,and with the small little hatch door you can use it without getting your fingers messed up.Also downside because then the small dust fails to reach the bottom bit..it gets trapped along the way.

Lush Grinder, really Nice. However it is ALOT bigger than i thought, Most of us will know the normal size metal ones of these, This on is quite alot larger apart from that its awesome

Grinds up my herbs and spices exceptionally well and with a cylinder capacity to rival any restaurant novelty pepper grinder one can rest assured for garnishing quite a respectably large lasagne dish.
