Best value of anything in our kitchen, going strong after 3 years of use, we LOVE it
We bought this 3 years ago and my only regret is not buying it sooner. Did they make this 25 years ago? Probably not. But it gets almost daily use, and it's amazingly versatile and high quality. It preheats amazingly fast, so much so that I rarely preheat at all. I just put the food in, set the time and temperature, and adjust the time an extra minute or two, depending on how high the temp is. Seriously, even for 400°, it'll get there in 2-3 minutes, so just adjust for that and put the food in. The door is so cool! It doesn't need two handles, which saves my limited counterspace and lets us use the countertop in front of the Ninja when we're not cooking. Ingenious design. I stopped buying expensive roast beef at the supermarket deli. I just buy a top round a/k/a "London Broil" and use the temperature probe with the preset settings. Just follow the manual and it will cook an average sized London Broil roast in 25-40 minutes, depending on your desired doneness. (And if you like medium rare roast beef, cook it to rare; it'll drift up to medium rare as it rests.) We use this almost daily for toast, English muffings, bagels, garlic bread, air frying seasoned curly fries, baking/broiling meats and fish. Reheating pizza. The list is endless. In the 3 years we've owned this, we probably only fire up our main oven 10% as often. The Ninja does just about everything. For the price, it's an amzing value and will be a great addition to any kitchen.

The counter top oven I have been waiting for!
Since my husband and I are the only two home, firing up the big oven all the time seems a waste - plus it heats up the kitchen which is not fun in summer. An added catch is that we don't eat the same. I don't eat meat (I will eat fish) and he hates fish but loves a good roasted chop. Anyone who doesn't care for fish is always wary of cooking it together with meat - it does tend to infiltrate! I have tried many counter top ovens. Some didn't work AT ALL: I couldn't get the touch panel on the Oster Convection Oven to work without practically breaking a finger; the Elite Gourmet ETO-4510M got WAY too hot (inside and out) and was complex because it expected you to manually synch the top and bottom heat source (which were both in the same oven, unlike this one) and the french doors were a definite burn hazard; the Hauswirt 26Qt Air Fryer Convection Oven Rotisserie was also too small and got dangerously hot on the outside. The Breville Smart Oven Pro Toaster Oven is a great little oven - I have actually had 3 over the years - but the big drawback is only one shelf. I once ordered an extra shelf so I could put two things in at once, but there really wasn't room and if the two things needed different temps there was too much math involved. Also, the fish/meat thing. The Ninja DCT451 is a superb little oven. I love it and so far can't find anything about it I don't like. What I do like... - top and bottom operate separately but can also be synched - the top is small (slim really) but easily accommodates a pizza - the door can be opened just for the top, or for both - each oven has separate controls, making it easy to set each one for different things - so far it seems to cook (time/temp) per instructions for the item with no need to adjust - the functions of each oven are easy to select (toast, bake, convection etc) - there is an inside light (a really nice feature) - the outside doesn't get too hot - just mildy warm - the size is great for the capacity inside, fits nicely on my counter - it has plenty of pans - 3 shelves, two roasting pans and an air fry mesh thing. - the pans are very heavy/good quality (not flimsy - even the Breville was guilty of that) - it says hello and goodbye 😃 A great purchase - I am really glad I spent a bit extra. Its is well worth it.

REAL toast+separate air fry/convection
We've had a couple of air fryers, the basket kind that took up too much space, for the limited things that it would do, and the toaster oven kind from a brand that is outfront with certain pot that they make... This toaster oven with its two separate ovens which seems crazy but it's fantastic, does not use convection in the toasting top part of the oven. Instead of desiccating toast with hot convection waves, this actually toasts like real toast, you can put it on the rack or, I prefer oven toast on a small cooking sheet pan. This is like the toast I grew up with the toast that your grandmother or mother made in the oven! You can put butter on it and it comes out crunchy, not like a piece of sandpaper, as the toast from a convection oven does. That alone makes this thing worth it, however it has many other features that are user friendly, customizable, and helpful. So if you really do want to dry something out or cook it fast, the bottom of the will do that for you, and the air fry for french fries and fish sticks and chicken tenders, all of those things is fantastic and efficient and quick for an individual or a family. In fact the toast makes up pretty quick too because the top oven is very small so do not walk away. I've been accustomed to making toast for almost 4 minutes -- a now 2 minutes or so, you've got a nice medium brown piece of crunchy toast. Yes I'm obsessed with the toast! I really missed oven-type toast. It has a sweet little dinging tone for ending and selection that is not annoying like some of these models. Don't know if you can turn it off, I wouldn't want to because it's just the cutest little sound and is helpful. You have a dedicated instant on/off button. The knob selector that selects toast color and number or whatever function you need also punches in to lock that in. Once you are cooking, you can punch it to stop turn heat source immediately. There's also a button for a light that lights up both ovens, that stays on a fairly long time maybe 30 seconds. One tap and it's right back on again. It's slightly bigger than the "IP" brand that we had before, chunky little squareish thing. But it is much less wide than most of the multi-featured models out there, and of course it needs to be pulled out a little bit for hot air frying, cuz there's a vent on the back. The glass does get hot on the front, as of course it should. The two doors on this model are fantastic. You don't have to move stuff out of the way underneath, if your coffee is waiting for your toast to be done. You punch in the top button and open just the top shallow toaster oven, so there is no need to open all of the door that comes all the way down to the countertop. When you're making toast or Pop-Tarts or bagels or whatever, you only need open/close the top door. I love that little top flip door. You don't have a big hot oven spreading heat into the kitchen when you flip up in that little door. In fact both of them are well insulated even though the glass gets hot it does not spread heat into the room like our other brand. So you don't feel heat all the way from the countertop to the dining table as we had before. And it's quiet, so so quiet compared to the screaming multi-function oven we had before that sounded like a C-130 landing for 30 minutes. My one complaint and this is true of most appliances, when you have to burn and break in the new appliance. I thought I was going to leave the house. It is that disgusting and dizzying and miserable. It's much like self-cleaning your regular oven, it is smelly and sickening. There's just no way around it though. It has to be done before use, but I would recommend plugging it into the garage or even on a patio or something because inside the kitchen the smell of the burning off of the factory, really permeated the atmosphere in a miserable way. Turn your air purifiers way up, and the vent fan on your stove! Other than that it's a fantastic little appliance if you don't need to cook huge things. You could probably just live with this as your one and only oven. I'm not sure if you can bake cakes in it as you could with our other one, but I bake cakes in my big range anyway. I believe you can cook a whole chicken in this though. We use ours for toast and Pop-Tarts and bagels and warming up things reheating things, re-crisping things. There are a lot of things we microwave for a minute or so and then crisp up in this kind of oven and this does all of that very well. Another issue is that I toast buttered flour tortillas quite often, and I have burned up a toaster oven when the tortilla puffed up and touched the heating element. I heated up frozen flour tortillas, handmade by the way, so they are extra thick -- and I stood by and did not take my eyes off of the tortillas that were on a toaster oven size baking pan. I don't know if they just happened to be not puffy or if the freezing protected them from puffing up, but I successfully toasted some flour tortillas that were delicious. If you're going to do that, as with toast or bagel don't walk away, keep your eyes on that little top oven because it cooks really fast. So I'm crossing my fingers that I will have future successful toastings of flour tortillas. I really highly highly recommend this, especially if toasting bread is something that you do on a regular basis because the other air fryer / convection ovens do not have this extra little separate oven that is just a regular toaster oven. This makes all the difference. I've been suffering with desiccated bread from hot convection wind for a couple of years now, and it was such bliss to eat a regular piece of toast again that was cooked very quickly without having to heat up my huge oven that would have taken 20 minutes probably. Butter up a piece of bread throw it in on a little baking sheet, and you have some darn good crunchy medium toast in under 3 minutes, anyway. Pick your toast shade! Buy this thing you'll love it for the other functions as well. I first purchased an air fryer after having my gallbladder removed so I could enjoy crispy things without drowning them in oil. It's been 10 years, and we use an air fryer several times a week. High power 1800w so don't plug it in at the same time you're using another powerful appliance. This one shares a wall outlet with a coffee maker and can opener, is all. Worth every penny!!

Fast Toast, Easy Clean, Bakes Great!
I tried 4 other toaster oven/air fryers before this and sent them all back for different reasons (Corsori, InstantPot, Cosmo, Cuisinart). My previous toaster oven that finally died was a Breville and toast took SO long to make. This toaster is FAST and my toast is evenly done (without an air fryer fan drying it out). I think that's due to the smaller upper compartment for it. I love that the bottom section is still large enough to bake brownies, cakes and meatloaf (all of which came out perfect on Convection Bake setting). I made the most perfectly moist chicken breast utilizing the thermometer so I didn't over-cook and dry it out like I normally would. I didn't expect to like the thermometer but it turned out that it's amazing to use for poultry. Everything cooks faster than a normal oven which I was hoping it would (when using it as other than an air fryer). When using the air fryer setting, it takes a tiny bit longer than the drawer type air fryer but not by much (still way faster than a regular oven). And, everything comes out crispy. On my first meal, I tested the machine with every rack used at the same time. I cooked dijon crispy chicken breast on the bottom rack, roasted potatoes in the air fryer basket above it on the middle rack, and roasted green beans on a pan in the toaster oven section. ALL cooking simultaneously...dinner was ready so fast and it was all hot since no more cooking in stages and waiting. I wasn't expecting this multi-use oven to be utilized by me in that way but it's almost every dinner that we use both oven sections of it now. The other amazing thing that nobody mentions is that the bottom oven does NOT have any heating elements exposed in it. This makes clean-up a total breeze! I use a damp paper towel to quickly wipe all the sides and bottom. The finish on it is non-stick inside. After testing out the other 4 units, this one doesn't get as hot as others in my opinion. The door is well sealed which I like too. I have just purchased a raised cutting board with silicone feet to place on top of the unit to help the heat dissipate and protect my cabinets from any heat...just in case. I had considered the Foodi XL oven and debated which to buy because I like the fact you can fit a 13x9 pan in that unit which is the reason I gave this unit 4 stars instead of 5. The Ninja people should have made this cooker just 1" bigger as pans that fit this are 12.5". I was successful at finding the perfect sized muffin pan to fit in this particular one and will place the link https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B077BXSX2B/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1 I also found great baking pans that are nice and big with lids as well https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0C7VD652G/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I was concerned about the door on this unit laying flat after reading other reviews but if you have a standard sized counter under your cabinets then this actually opens perfectly flat (see picture I attached). I found my "unicorn" toaster oven as my hubby would say. Fast toast, easy clean with no exposed heating elements on bottom, super-fast preheat (90 seconds on most settings), fast & crispy air fry, quiet when using, thermometer built-in, large enough to bake 12 muffins at once and also bake a full pan of chicken enchiladas. The search is finally over. Oh, and I did NOT get this unit as a promotion. I paid for it myself. It's an honest review.

My fave kitchen appliance!
I got this double oven 3 years ago and it has almost completely replaced my oven use. There’s only two of us in my household, so it’s enough space for all of our meals. We only use the big oven when we’re having guests, though my oven has been down for the last few months, so we’ve had to use the Ninja double oven even with guests (we just cook in smaller batches). The convection setting is my fave because it cooks evenly and gives food a nice crispiness. Second to that is the air fryer feature, which is use mostly for reheating food, but also for fries. I use the bake option on the top oven for salmon. And we use the broil feature for steaks. If Ninja were to make a full size oven, I’m pretty sure I would buy it based on my experience with this double oven. I didn’t include a photo because I’ve really put this machine through its paces and it’s not as shiny as when I first got it, but it still works really well! I highly recommend!

Fantastic!
Upgraded from using a ninja flip for over five years, and I gotta say, I wish I'd switched sooner! I live in a small studio behind my dads house, and we never put in any major appliances, like stoves. So this is my alternate route for cooking dinner, reheating items, etc. And this one has really upped my cooking game! I can make more than one thing at a time and not have to worry about one item going cold while the other is still cooking. I love baking, and now i can do it all super easily at home. The bottom half is tall enough for muffin tins, single cake rounds, pies, and more! Word of caution, you may have to figure out how to adjust your cooking times for this appliance! Some things may need. A little more or less time than it normally would in a full size oven. I've had years of experience at this point figuring out how long for most items. You can find resources online as well to help guide you on small appliance cook times! Its super easy to figure out and use, and I hope it lasts me as long as my other Ninja has!

Great brand, easy to use, and works great!
This all-in-one toaster oven is awesome. Good gets done quickly and evenly. It doesn’t take up much room but I still can cook whatever I need in there. I really like the air frying and reheat functions. It’s easy to clean and is very quiet.

Perfectly cooks anything! So versatile!
So happy with my ninja! I've been enjoying my ninja for about 4 months now. It's so versatile and easy to use. You can make pretty much anything it. It bakes perfect cookies, cakes and muffins on the top. The toaster setting on the top is what I use to make a grill cheese sandwich in minutes. The larger bottom does great roasted vegetables and proteins. Of course the air fryer setting is excellent for all your fryer foods. Pizza comes out so perfect with a crispy crust! It fits perfectly on my counter, just under my microwave. I like to warm my plates by just setting them on the top while cooking a meal. I highly recommend buying oven liners for easy clean up and square silicone mats for the oven pans to keep them looking new for a long time.

Excelente calidad!!
Excelente!!

Best Counter Top Oven!
I can’t live without this Ninja product. I use it all the time and it’s replaced so many small kitchen appliances (air fryer, dehydrator) I bake and cook in it all the time. I very rarely use my regular oven now (we are a household of two). The only downside is it takes a lot of counter space and is heavy so a pain if you want to put away after use. It also does not have a rotisserie and likely the bottom oven would be too small to rotisserie a chicken.

Muy útil
Es un horno muy útil. Lo uso para todo para hacer cualquier proteína como pollo, carne o pescados.
