Crystacide is a cream for the treatment of primary and secondary skin infections where the organism is sensitive to hydrogen peroxide. This includes most bacteria including Staph. aureus, the commonest cause of infection in wounds and burns. Crystacide is commonly used for the treatment of impetigo and atopic eczema, where this has become infected.

It says "Once you have opened the tube, do not keep it for more than 28 days" - is there a reason for this?

Hydrogen peroxide breaks down into water and oxygen. When the seal is broken, the active product will gradually break down and reduce in effect. After 28 days it is likely no longer close to 1% active ingredient and may not work as well.

Does it work on normal warts?

No it’s good in treating and preventing infection in minor wounds.

Can you you this on the face for Molluscan?

Hi, YEs I have 3 kids with molluscum warts, and many near their eyes. Be very careful near their eyes though as it will irritate it really really badly and is painful. The best tip is to put the cream and cover with a spot plaster, that will suffocate the wart aswell as prevent the child from touching them and spreading them
