The lockdown has not been kind to me with regard to my waist size. It’s grown. I didn’t really notice it until I had to go somewhere that required me to put on a pair of pants, something I haven’t had to do for months because I normally work from home. To my shock and dismay, I couldn’t button my pants. I needed another inch or two – and I got it with these Elastic Waist Extenders. They are well made and unobtrusive. The button holes are well spaced – and hold the pants button securely. They are not as wide as my belt, which covers it neatly. I love them! I hope to drop the weight I gained and bring my waist back to what I consider its normal size. In the meantime, these handy little things keep from having to purchase new pants! Jerry

They did what they were supposed to but the edges were a bit rough so they were itchy and I had to trim the sharp edges. They weren’t super stretchy but were enough to fit over my 20 week belly. I also connected two when my belly got bigger so it would reach. The quality was alright and they were easy to use.

I bought these awhile back & they worked except for when the button on your pants is a few inches away from the pants button home due to this thinggie ...you. can't zip up your zipper...maby like half way but it does let you button your pants that you couldn't because you're a fatso. However I got sick of being a fatty so I went on this diet it's actually an app & you record what you eat throughout the day but there's much more to it than that. But in a general sense, if you're truly motivated to loose weight you just follow this app & record your calories & just bee really honest &...it works. I never could diet I was the worst but I must say it's been easy once you get going & 11 weeks since I've started I've list 41 pounds...no lie. So anyway I won't heed these anymore

In all fairness, they do what they say they will do. However, they are in no way impressive. Literally feels like I purchased a Junior High kids crafting project. These do not hold up over time, and the buttons on them are undersized, making the clasp on the suspenders fall off easy. The cut portion that fits over original buttons tears out in a fairly short time. This is definately a temporary solution, not a good buy for long time solution.

These waist extenders do what they're advertised to do! I have an expensive pair of heavyweight wool outdoor pants for severe winter weather which no longer fit. These extenders enable me to wear them comfortably. And they seem sturdy and likely to last.

My girlfriend bought these for me, along with a couple of other extender designs that were jean or dress pant specific. I think these are the most versatile ones we got, but the one that needs to be hidden the most. The jean and dress pant extenders were made to specifically match the fabric, whereas these are just a versatile black - great for pants of unique colors / black but does require me to wear a belt to cover. It makes sense as these have less width than previously mentioned products, so easier to hide with belts. I think that's the intended use, so I now always turn to these any time I'm wearing a belt anyways. They have better give (not too much stretch) and 3 holes for a wider array of size adjustments. I also tuck my shirt in generally, so don't feel the scratchiness that others mentioned. I think given the various types of extenders out there, you just need to know which ones to use for what situations. My girlfriend also started using these for some of her darker skirts - I might need to order more!

Black suits most of my needs. These function well if your pants use buttons as closures and not hooks. They are easy to use and allow one to continue to fit into pants that have become a bit too small.
