NOT AN SKS TYPE KIT, MORE FOR AK’s. Missing barrel end protector.
This is a well built good quality kit but advertised wrong. This kit is more like an AK variant. The SKS factory kits came with a longer top cap that was used to slide over the muzzle and protect it from the steel cleaning rod. The real SKS kits also have a full length punch. The capsule should be drilled to be able to slide cleaning rod though and lock in using the capsule as a handle for the rod.

Close, but no cigar
It works and it fits into the stock of the SKS and I realize it's brand new and not vintage, but it's not authentic to the original design which is something an SKS owner wants - or should want. The tools are slightly different than an authentic vintage cleaning kit and the case itself is wrong with the smaller cap fitting and locking inside the case instead of on the outside. It will do for now, but it kind of sticks in my craw. I will be replacing it with something more authentic to the SKS.
