I already had a similar wrought iron floor lamp from my Mom but wanted another. Looked online and found some but they were $200 to $300. It’s a sturdy lamp and should last decades. Made in the USA is a big plus. When I opened the box there were some newspapers along with the packing paper. The newspapers were from Lancaster, PA - where my Mom lived. She’d be happy. She died in 2013.

Cute lamp.
I really like the style of it. It was tough to know what size lampshade or what type to buy. I had to return one before i got the perfect shade- Red barn star 8 in height x 10 inch base (on amazon) with a clip onto bulb style. It isn't a perfectly straight lamp , but that could be because we didn't follow directions correctly? It said to step on base while holding mid section. I don't mind it slanted a bit, kind of gives a rustic antique aura to the room.

This is a quality lamp. The assembly instructions had us cracking up. Just a piece of paper with the streps drawn on it in black marker. I kept the sheets too!

The light doesn't work
There is a short in the cord. My son thought the switch was bad and replaced with a new one, still don't work.

I am sure that it was a very nice lamp, but I did not open it.It is kind of crazy, but I did not order it. I must have hit the wrong button, so of course I ordered it accidentally.So, it got returned. Sorry.

A Truly fine Amish made lamp.
This was exactly what we were looking for. We visit the Amish of Lancaster County each fall and last year we saw these in a shop and wanted one for our living room. It's beautifully hand made by the Amish and the instructions, on assembly, were hand drawn on a sheet of paper. We love it.
