If Animals Kissed Good Night : Paul, Ann Whitford, Walker, David: desertcart.co.uk: Books Review: So cute! - Such a cute story I just wish it was shorter.. my baby is 10 months and it’s a bit long for her. An older baby/ toddler would enjoy it more. Review: Beautiful little bedtime book - I love this book. The illustrations are beautiful and the little descriptions of how the animals kiss goodnight is charming. The paragraphs are rhyming and some are tongue twisters. Have been reading it to my little baby as part of her bedtime routine.

Lovely rhyming bedtime book
Lovely book to read before bed, my 8 month old daughter enjoys listening to the rhymes and turning the words, the text isn’t too long so she doesn’t get bored and the illustrations are lovely too. One of those books you don’t mind reading again and again!

Lovely bedtime book
My son loves this book and we read it at least once a day! I was a bit tongue-tied the first time I tried to read it!! Good fun though. The print quality isn’t great though as you can see the pages have been trimmed badly (there are random letters and numbers along the edges). Shame but doesn’t affect the enjoyment.

Lovely pictures, well read
This is a gorgeous little board book. My grandson loves animals so he can name them all and bonus isthat whoever is reading the book to him gets a kiss n a big cuddle when it's finished.

How do you say goidnight to your parents? Do you read books and say goodnight, love you? The author, Ann Whitford Paul, has written a lovely book about goodnight rituals. The little girl wonders how to giraffes saybgoodnight, sloths say goodnight, theyvare so slow, and any animal you can think of. My granddaughter has 3 books read to her, a little talking, then a big hug and kiss goodnight. This is after brushing her teeth and flossing. It is a wonderful thing to wonder how everyone says goodnight. Adults will enjoy reading this book to their children. The family can discuss their goodnight rituals, and how it makes them feel. Children will, have many questions. The illustrations by David Walker are bright, vivid and colorful. They depict the rituals and the goodnight times of people and animals. Thus is a lovely book for all to read, and to havebit as part of a goodnight ritual. Recommended. prisrob 05-05-17

A lively story that named the animals and the proper names of their babies, all in s sweet little tale. The repetition helps to lull the little one to sleep. Also love that the parent animals are sometimes mammas and sometime papas giving the good night kisses.

The book has a lovely history ideal for bedtime. Cute drawings and fun rimes (a bit hard to read when you are just as sleepy as your kid). My kid really connected to the history from the first time I read it to him. Also, it brings lots of animals to learn.

An all-time favorite bedtime story. The rhymes are so cute. I think I liked it even more than the kids :)

Interesting storyline and the bonus of learning the proper names of the young of animals.
