Temple Incense Cone Burner - Jointed Wood

Love it. it may be cheap, but it's nicely put together and has a cracking design. The pin lock is strong enough that the lid won't flap open, and there are plenty of holes for the smoke to emerge, but the best part has to be the little swing open door to the storage compartment under the burner plate. very cool feature. I've been itching to use this and finally got some cones in today so I'm sitting here surrounded by patchouli and vanilla smoke. I like the no mess quality of this, my Jos stick burner is hopeless at containing the ash and mess. this just seems a better way to burn incense, no accidental catching sleeves on burning things. all tucked away inside a solidly constructed little palace for incense cones. I think I'm definitely going to get a couple more of these for round the house. Just good value for money. Someone made this by hand, and it's this cheap and this well-made - bargain!

The box itself isn't the nicest to look at up close. It's obviously hand-made therefore riddled with imperfections. I haven't been able to actually get the little drawer thing open yet but have no need for it so haven't really tried that much. It's a great size for my larger cones so should fit any cone you like in it. Does the job of dispersing the smoke a little better than just using a stone doughnut. Works well enough although when not in use I store it as it is not the nicest ornament.

Things to understand before buying: These are all handmade so all unique. Being handmade the angles are not perfect...which is good... they are not identical units rolling off a production line in other words. I am really glad the two I have aren't identical These are good value for money. Bought a pair...well two. Got one on either end of a mango wood coffee table in the living room. They look fantastic. The smoke snakes out of the holes in the pyramidal lids elegantly and attractively. Love them. One slight issue to be aware of is the hinged lids are heavier than the bases. So you need to hold the base whilst the lid is open or it will tip over. Not a real problem just something to be aware of when placing cones in the dish. If I had somewhere else to put some more of these I'd order more without hesitation. -- edit 13/11/2015 Bought two more of these for bedrooms. Same prompt delivery from Crafty Jungle and same lovely looking burners in the box. So still recommend these wood pyramid burners.

Not as well made as portrayed in pictures. Craftsmanship could be better. First time I used this the top of the box looked burnt. On reviewimg the item I can see this isn’t a one off. I’m not the first to experience this. Not safe to use as described unless you want a house fire. For this reason I’m using purely for an ornamental purpose. I value my life too much to even consider using for the reason it was brought for. Dare I say it DON’T buy this as a incense, cone burner it’s not safe.

A very nice cone burner but could be used for sticks as well in the holes and you put it on a tray. Smoke flow is perfect and scented the house very nice. also easy to clean out, just flip the lid and empty the contents out

Great item

Really disappointed with this. Bought it as a gift for someone, last minute, and it’s so badly made the lid doesn’t even open. I like the pattern and the wood. It looks nice. But it’s completely useless as the lid is completely jammed shut. No time to return it as it was for someone as a last minute gift. Really let down by the poor quality of this product.

Aunque el producto funciona como caja para quemar conos de incienso el acabado esta mal. Los agujeros no están alineados ni centrados bien, y en sitios las laminas de madera no están correctamente alineadas. No lo he devuelto porque no quiero la molestia de hacerlo. Simplemente lo he puesto en un sitio donde no se aprecia las imperfecciones. Había pensado en comprar otro para otra habitación pero ahora no lo haré.

Ich brenne öfters Dufträucherkerzen ab, und der kleine mitgelieferte Metallteller, der solchen Packungen mitunter beiliegt, ist nicht sonderlich attraktiv. Da macht dieses Tempelhäuschen deutlich mehr her. Es ist eine Art Intarsien-Arbeit, nicht maschinell gefertigt, dafür sind die ganzen Holzstückchen zu unregelmäßig. Aber das ist keine Kritik, im Gegenteil: Die erkennbare Handarbeit ist viel charmanter. Das Teil sieht sehr hübsch aus, der Rauch kommt durch die Öffnungen im Dach. Kann ich empfehlen.

I like this. Size is good. Wouldn't want it any bigger than this. Color is nice. Smoke flows nicely out of it
