Silverline Hydraulic Bottle Jack 10 Tonne (598558), BLUE

Have not tried it up to 10t yet but works a treat. Very good for cramped space, there is a screw top to it so you don’t have to shimmy it up typically. Awesome for aligning caravans as pushes them straight up as opposed to moving everywhere with car jack. However because it’s smaller it puts that entire pressure onto a small area underneath it, so make sure you are on solid footing and you can have up to 10t of weight on an area less than half ft2. Make sure you store upright! Also I would add for lowered cars or have less clearance this wouldn’t be suitable. Lastly, the handle isn’t that long so if you have something that is a stretch away, you will need a length of metal pipe. Apart from that the bottle jack is quality, the things above are not bad points just to be aware of of. I have this and I would buy again

This is great value for money. The lifting process is slow compared to a trolley jack but most bottle jacks are unless you get into buying a much more expensive double lift bottle jack. The rod handle is adequate. It's a bit on the flimsy side but does the job. The jack body itself is solid and heavy to handle. Overall I am very happy with this purchase.

Firstly I've seen other reviews saying they have bought this jack to lift there car and its no good, I wouldn't recomend this jack to lift a car either these sort of jacks are designed for lifting high clearence agritectural & construction machinery amongst others. If your wanting to lift a car I would strongly recomend a 'crocodile' trolly jack or a scissor jack. So getting to the reason I purchased the jack, I purchased this jack to be used in a homemade hydraulic press that is constructed from 4"x4" fence post bolted together with M12 bolts which is being used in my workshop for assembling metal fittings that have a interference fit (such as bearings on shafts). It has also found a use crushing down empty gas cans (careful!) & other metal scrap so that it takes up less space while awaiting recycling. Overall a great product, only got 4stars due to the fact it comes in a case but this was smashed and it has no carry handle as in the picture (this is no biggy if like me can weld one on:).)

I bought the jack as an upgrade for the 2t jack in my bearing press I use on a regular basis. After 6months of use its never let me down It plenty powerful and rated at 10t,I see no reason why it couldn't lift a vehicle of that weight. Its well made and easy to use.

Was able to hoist part of a building supported by a rotten timber. This thing can lift 10 tonnes, I don't doubt it.

Works ok the bar is a poor fit and not really long enough

This bottle jack turned up on time, and is just the ticket, except for 2 things. Firstly there wasn't a handle on the bottle, secondly, the pump handle is a bit flimsy, and not long enough. Pumping up is a bit of a struggle, but i had a length of tent pole, which fitted over the handle, giving better leverage, no problem, works fine.

Va muy bien, no se baja, aunque he utilizado borriqueta por seguridad. No es tan pesado como parece y al tener una base fuerte es muy estable. por poner una pega la caja donde se guarda venía rota.

Essenziale e molto efficiente, sembra molto robusto. Consigliato

J'ai acheté ces chandelles pour pouvoir démonter les roues de mon motoculteur en toute sécurité. Le système de réglage à crémaillère est robuste et ils ont une bonne asise.

Buena resistencia aunque no me arriesgo a usarlo para más de 5 toneladas. Para un uso doméstico más que de sobra. La única pega el maneral que queda muy flojo y es muy débil, además de hacerse corto, yo le hice uno de una única pieza más Robustiano y largo y encantado estoy

Pratique à déplacer avec sa poignée. Pour l'instant j'ai détourné sa destination, je maintiens et soulève de grosses pierres d'un mur de ferme en cours de rénovation. Je fais attention de ne pas trop forcer, car il est puissant et je pourrai éclater les pierres. Je mets des calages pour sécuriser, mais il tient bien la pression. Si dans les mois qui suivent j'ai un problème de fonctionnement, je vous en ferai part , mais pour l'instant il est OK, pour soulever et redescendre des charges. Rien de comparable avec un cric à manivelle et vis.
