12m of sticky-backed hook and loop tape was more than enough for hanging 3 valances on 1800mm (6ft) venetian blinds. The supplied plastic valance clips almost always break so hook&loop is a good substitute. Going overboard I used two lengths of tape per Valance being careful to cut short where the tape would interfere with the end brackets. The Valance needed a tape length at the top and middle as the last third didn't touch the headrail.Method: Clean headrail and Valance backs to remove any laid-on finger grease. Cut loop length the same size as the hook length. Stick the hook length to the Valance back peeling the backing paper about 4-6 inches at a time. Press firm and place the loop length along the hook length face-to-face leaving the backing paper on. When both lengths are matched remove the backing paper from the loop length and carefully stick then press where wanted on the headrail.The adhesive has a good grab-strength so it's best to get it situated right first time.There were a few loose edge strands which required clipping but I think overall the quality is up to the job.

I purchased this item to hold a rug in place on a fitted carpet, initially it appeared to be working but after a few hours the rug had started to walk again. I think it would be fine for other applications.

This adhesive hook and loop (velcro) tape is just what I need for rotating pictures in hanging poster frames. There are 2 rolls to the set - 1 has the rough, hooks side and the other has a smooth material that attaches to the hook tape. Both rolls have adhesive on the reverse which sticks well.I have lots of ideas for using this tape - hanging net curtains in my windows without wires, hanging a projector screen and taking it down when not in use and sticking lightweight pictures to the wall as well as my seasonal diamond paintings - with the smooth side on the painting, hook side on the wall, I can easily roll up my pictures that are not in use for storing and attach a new picture in its place without leaving holes in the wall from screws and picture hooks :)
