It was a very tight fit to get on, but worked immediately. There was some squeaking when it was used for the first time, but this stopped once it had warmed up, and the noise never came back. We've had no problems with it, since.

This belt is fit for purpose and fitted my tumble dryer but was so difficult to actually fit around the spindle which is why I have only given it 4 stars. Obviously though if it hadn't have been so tight it would not have worked so you just need someone really strong to stretch it to fit.

Good product but a pig to fit. Considerable stretching force is needed to get the belt onto the motor shaft. Therefore get a piece of 15mm copper tube about 260mm long and use that to get the belt onto the shaft. When you first get the belt stretch the bastard by pulling it against your feet, stretch it with all your might so it slides over the drum easy, put the tube through the belt, push tube onto end of shaft just a bit (not all the way). then mess about until you have slid the belt down the copper tube and onto the motor shaft. Use the tube like a lever once its on the end of the tip end of the motor shaft. If you want to know how to adapt the motor fixings to make the belt go on really easy and don't mind the extra work, just ask me but you will need tools and some bolts and a drill. You can keep your tumble going forever if you adapt it and maintain it.

One hefty workout trying to get this onto the drum, but once it was on, it worked a treat! Still motoring on months later without any issues. Also cheaper and faster delivery than some of the dedicated sites for dryer parts, so that's a plus!

The belt was delivered about 5 days after placing my order. I spent about an hour fitting it because I have never replaced a drive belt before and didn't really know where to start but it fitted perfect a bit tight at first but its a new belt and they have to stretch a little. Im very happy with it and its saved me buying a new dryer for the sake of an hours work

Absolutely life saver was this purchase. A bit fiddle to fit it on the drum and motor(need 2 people) once on it work as it should.
