Osti Original cheese cutter with black plastic handle and 3 replacement wires (Black)

Bought an original decades ago. String broke so I looked it up. Sweet! Here it is. Perfect kitchen gadget. Couldn't live without it.

If you like wire cheese cutters this is your cheapest option and it comes with some spare wires, which is important because sooner or later the wire will break and, unless replaced, leave the gadget useless. You can cut two thicknesses of cheese slices on the two opposite sides: thick and thicker. You can only cut cheeses of the consistency of Danish Havarti, i.e. soft, but not too soft - not brie, or camembert, for example. By not asking it to do what it can't, we have had wires last as long as five years, but you can't count on it. However, the wire cheese cutter does a fabulous job on the right kind of cheese and even though we have numerous cheese knives and cheese planes, we would not like to do without it.

Slim, easy to use cheese slicer. Easy to clean in store when not in use.

Seems like a simple effective design that should work. Replacement wire are a bonus

Much better than plastic models

We've been buying this cheese slicer for years and absolutely love it. It comes with replacement wires but over time they do all eventually break. I wish they would sell just a pack of replacement wires because I now have three of these gadgets.
