Greatly improved a terrible head grease spot
Unfortunately my father's head left a bad grease spot on the armchair. I tried with washing up liquid and a sponge but it made it worse (though I used that between applications of this stuff and it helped a lot). This degreaser gel didn't eradicate the spot entirely, but one jar made it dramatically better, and probably another jar would continue to lift it. It did seem to loosen the dye, which then pooled in different areas, so what was left of the stain is probably more dye than grease. The leather seemed a little tortured at the end lol, but I used their furniture clinic leather conditioner and it really helped. Saved the armchair from the skip.

Worked for me
This is the second purchase , it has worked well on my sofa, the packaging could be better as the bottle had leaked and had taken away the instruction for use, luckily I had the bottle from a,previous purchase

Phew!
I am sooo relieved that my sofa has been saved after using this product. There was a large oil stain left on my soft leather sofa from a dog bone that had completely dried in by the time I arrived home. I honestly thought this was beyond restoration, but the degreaser really worked!! You do need to be patient as this took maybe five or six applications. The other thing I noted when using it was that you really must clean with a wipe after each treatment to remove the oil that rises to the surface. It looks as though the colour is stripped following the hoover step, but I used a quick spray of furniture polish and the colour came right back. I took photos before, after application and hoovering and then at the end. Iโm chuffed to bits!

Take care with this. Have a test area if you can.
I bought this to degrease little specks of fat that were splattered onto my beautiful new butter leather bag. It did absorb some grease spots, but it wasn't worth persevering to remove the rest...all carefully placed with a small brush, as it faded the leather giving it an unusual mottled appearance not much better than the grease spots. However, this is one item and it might work better on other things. N. B. Apparently, there is a product available to redress this lightening effect but I won't be trying it for fear of making more of a mess.

Totally rubbish
Totally rubbish, I fully read instructions, cleaned & applied in accordance, once dry minor improvement, re applied a total of 6 more times, with very little difference, given up now. Waste of time & money.

Not Effective for Me.
I persisted as advised in other reviews but made no difference to the stains on my leather dining chairs. It may be that the stains are too old but this has not been effective for my requirement.

Fantastic product
Wow, we were very sceptical about this, but it has done a great job, and the sofas look great again, the head sweat/grease stains (Sounds disgusting) have entirely gone. The downside are the instructions, very vague in how you use it, even google'ing didn't help. So this is what we did. After multiple varied attempts, this is what we did that worked. Applied it using an old paintbrush (Give it a good coating), within 10mins some areas will dry white and crumble when touched, other parts will stay wet-looking if it's a heavy stain, leave this for 20-30mins. If still wet looking, apply more of the product to those areas over the top of what's there, and repeat until it dries white and crumbles. If it's not drying white after a 4th coat, move to the cleaning bit and repeat the application the next day or once fully dry. Now the messy bit, using a vacuum, suck it all up very carefully so not to scratch the leather. Any remaining product can be cleaned up using a damp cloth. (The vacuum will also need a clean, including the filter) If needed once fully dry, repeat the application of the product. We didn't use anything in between our applications until between the 3rd and 4th application, where we also left it for 24hrs to give the leather a break. Main because the leather treatment we use acts as a barrier, so didn't want to stop the product from working when applied, plus the leather looked fine and there was no sign of distressing or drying out.

Not bad at all for the price
We have had our leather suite for about 10 years and I had noticed a gradual build up of grease over the years. I was always under the impression there was little you could do about it. Having spotted this I decided to give it a go. This 250ml jar was just enough for the 3 seater sofa (if you have more seats to treat you will need more). The instructions tell you to clean the leather prior to treating (with their leather cleaner - which I didn't have so I used baby wipes). I then applied the degreaser with an old paintbrush. It dried quickly and vacuumed off easily. I did about 5 applications as I'd read you needed to persevere. (Note the vacuum cleaner attachment tool became very greasy from the residue and needed a hot soapy wash!). The leather became very sticky as the grease came off and I was worried it may have spoilt. Even after 5 applications it was still sticky (I could scratch the grease off at times and did use a non sharp knife to take some of the grease off - yuk!). By this time I thought I was ruining the sofa and might have to buy a new one! After I'd used all the degreaser I cleaned the treated area with 50:50 vinegar and water mix to help break down the grease and then allowed it to dry overnight. The following morning it was a lot less less sticky and I applied saddle soap to the sofa and then buffed it up. Whilst it is not perfect it is significantly better than it was as the photos I hope show (Before, during and after). All in all it took the best part of a day to do!

Was the only thing that worked
My daughter had one of those Glade plug in oil scented air freshener explode in a bag she brought home from college. Not knowing this, she set in on the couch and it soaked into the couch. It removed the coloring and soaked into the leather. I first tried several other options trying to remove the oil and then re-dyed the couch, which looked good at first, but spots came back. I finally pulled the trigger on this purchase, because of the price I was initially hesitant. I'm so glad I bought this, and very happy with how effective it is. I did have to go over the area four times, but he the end results made it completely worth it. It was easy to use, and a small amount goes a long way. I applied this product to the affected areas and just waited for it to dry. Then vacuumed up the dried up product.

Works great!
I was a little skeptical because of the reviews but this actually worked very well. I followed the directions and did three cycles and it took a really bad body oil stain off a 20 year old leather recliner. It does leave the leather a little faded but I used a leather color balm afterwards, as recommended by the directions, and it turned out great. I wish I took some before and after pictures to share.

Did not work
Leather sofa had a body oil stain that looked just like the stain in the product video. I applied the product according to the instructions twice. It did not work.

It mostly worked
The degreaser worked surprisingly well to remove a body oil stain from my leather couch. It took 5 or 6 coats but it removed the oil stain like 80%. Still somewhat visible but very much lessened. Be prepared to use leather recoloring balm because it did strip dye from the affected spot.

Does EXACTLY what is says, great product.
This product is amazing. I had two, areas with hair and scalp oil stains on a beautiful leather sofa. I tried cleaning it with leather cleaning, nothing, you could feel the oil. I hired a supposed furniture cleaning company. They did accomplish to lighten my wallet but the oil remained. I have now given the two spots three treatments and the oil is cone and the leather looks great. One complaint, I wish the company would have sold a kit of this product, the cleaner required between coats and finally the leather conditioner. If you buy this product I would consider getting their cleaner and conditioner. The product is great
