Spigen Optik Armor Designed for Galaxy S23 Ultra Case (2023) [Military-Grade Protection] - Black

I have had a few Spigen cases in the past with the most recent being the Tough Armor for the S21 Ultra. When I traded the phone in the rep asked how long I had the phone. When I said 2yrs she and the rep next to her were shocked. She said, "it looks brand new!" I did drop it a few times but it held up will in that case. When I got the new S21 Ultra I knew what I wanted but saw this one with a lens cover and changed my mind. Loved the Tough Armor (TA) and the kickstand was used all the time. This one improved on the short comings of that one. The grip on the back it great in the hand. The TA one was slick but this one feels great. The lens cover slides and protects very well. It clicks into place and have yet to have any issues with it coming open or sliding closed while using the camera. The buttons on the side feel great, ready to use, and easy to identify which is which. Openings for charger is wide enough for any plugs, I tried a bunch to see. S-pen slot is perfect because it is just deep enough that you don't accidentally pop it out yet easy enough to get out of you need it. ONLY complaint and please don't change anything but this, make one with a kickstand and keep it flush like on the TA! Didn't realize how much I used it. Miss that a ton but outside of that don't change a single thing! If your looking for a case your going to love this one!!

This is a great case - sturdy and protective. I LOVE the slider. Pros: 1. Camera lens protection (of course) 2. Sturdy 3. button response 4. parallel edge - the edge of the case feels almost part of the phone itself. It makes sliding out side-menus very comfortable There are a few niggles, some have nothing to do with Spigen. 1. Samsung made the camera lenses very large, bringing them down somewhat parallel to the qi wireless receiver. That means you can't add a mount (for example "oh snap") to this case because the slider is right in the way. 2. In fact, it's hard to adequately put any sizable mount on it because you have to mount it further down on the case and the phone is heavy enough that if you magnetically mount it (eg in a car), it may spin down/off the mount. 3. Samsung put the buttons on the right side of the phone, so when you use it in your right hand and go to thumb the buttons, your forefinger might end up all over the bottom lens! 4. You can't fit a glass lens protector under the slider as the tolerance is too tight. In the end, I kept the case but also got the Spigen Rugged Armor - with zero protection for the camera lens. It's another great case.

Best case ever. The camera cover is awesome. Slides over easily, and stays in place. I've dropped my phone several times, but never had any damage. Truly an awesome case.

There's a lot to like about this product. It's built nicely and fits like it should on the S23 Ultra--slim fit. It does not add any bulk and provides good protection to lenses and rest of the phone. The cut outs for the stylus and power adaptor are nicely made. I bought the Abyss Green as my primary and the Liquid Air as a back-up. As you can see by the pictures, both work very well if you installed the Pro Lens Protector and screen glass protector. The back is anti-slip and the door for the lenses if pretty sturdy. It works with my Samsung wireless charger. Why the 4 stars for this product? The side of the case is not tectured like the Liquid Air. It's somewhat slippery. I will never understand why they didn't texture the sides like they did the Liquid Air. If you try to hold it (even side-ways) to take a selfee and can potentially slip out of your hand. Just not enough side grip in my view.

I've used Spigen cases for years and have always been pleased with their quality and functionality. Now that I have a Galaxy S23 Ultra I wanted something to protect the camera lenses. I was not impressed with the glass lens covers that some manufacturers offer, but the Optik case does exactly what I want. The sliding cover is easy to move but clicks into place when it is either fully open or completely closed. It does not move on its own. The remainder of the case is typical Spigen quality: well-built and good protection. No charging issues.

I got this as a hiking/festival case so I don't have dirty lenses the whole time. Seems to be perfect so far! The case is a good balance between protection and being relatively thin. The camera cover part makes it so it no longer wobbles when on a table. Something that bugs me about modern phones I like that the sides go all the way to my screen protector. The side gestures are way more comfortable now. It's easyto hold without being so grippy it pulls your pocket inside out. Again, a good balance.

After having this case over a year, I'm switching. I really expected more from Spigen and especially based on the reviews. Pros: Sleek, simple, and the sliding camera protector still works well and was the main selling point for me. Cons: 1. The bottom lip of the case that surrounds the charging port cuts too far into the space where you plug in your cable, so you cannot plug in most USBC charging cables unless the housing is especially sleek/thin. In general the bottom part of the case has slightly bent and loosened over time and does not feel very protective. 2. There's not enough of a beveled edge to truly protect the screen if it's face-down, and the case is too tight to properly accomodate certain screen protectors - both of these factors I think contributed to my screen protector forming cracks with just regular phone use, as it had survived just fine with my temporary bulkier rubber case. 3. I personally just don't like the pointed edges, it makes it less comfortable to hold as a corner is always jamming you in the palm, and overall the case lacks any real grippyness making it more suseptible to accidental drops and sliding across surfaces.

Even after one year it holds strong and the case i trusted the most

Chegou conforme o anúncio. Encaixou perfeitamente no meu S23U. A tampa abre e fecha bem. O material parece ser bom. Até o momento, atendeu minhas expectativas.

I bought another Spigen case for the S23 Ultra but I kept touching the lens accidentally with my index finger. This case solves that. Sure it's a slight hassle to keep opening the lens protection to take pictures each time but you'll get used to it after a while and it keeps your lens clean from dust and smudges which means less wiping of the lens and lower chance of scratches.

I've bought 5 different phone cases that could protect my camera lenses with a slider or a cover and none of them come close to this one. I've been using this case for about a year at this point and the slider still clicks into place like it did the first time. It's highly durable and can perfectly protect your phone against things like scratches from keys, being dropped from pocket height, etc. without any damage to your phone or the case. Unless you're looking for a case that needs to be heavy duty enough to handle more than what the everyday phone goes through, this case will be the best option for you. Feels slim, has a nice grip, cheap, looks sleek, and most importantly for me, protects your camera lens perfectly without sacrificing camera quality. The only negative thing I could think of is that when you spill a liquid near the camera portion of the case, you'll need to take apart the slider to wipe down all the crevices under the sliding mechanism but its super easy to take apart and put back together and I haven't noticed any degrading in quality because of it.
