I hate having to change this light
I love the look, I love how it appears. What I don't love is having to change the light back to the color that I want every time it gets turned on. I'm using it for an outdoor Halloween display on my porch, and I want it to stay on the blue. Unfortunately every time it goes off with the timer and then turns back on again, I have to set it to the setting I want. This could easily be five stars if it retained its memory.

excellent value for a fun accent
While I admit to using this type of light for parties, I have them outside to create a water effect where no water exists - a "fake" beach with blue gravel and white sand. Does the trick to rave reviews. The previous lights I had lasted several years with 4-6 hours of use every evening.

Wish it remembered the last setting
Cool fire effect, however I run a haunted trail and each day when the power is turned off/back on, the light has to be reset with the remote. It defaults back to cycling through all the different colors. This isn’t ideal for a haunted house because often circuits get tripped during operating hours and when you flip the breaker back on you have to run out to this light to reset it. Would not order again BUT this does get the job done if resetting it isn’t an issue for you. For the manufacturer: always program lights to resume playing the last setting!
