Q: Will this fit a darker tone person?

It fits every human, whatever colored skin you might have. It is not transparent. Have lots of fun wearing this during a party!

Q: Why do you not state anywhere that this is actually a long sleeve shirt, not a sweatshirt?

I reviewed this sweater about the same issue! What a sham! Down in the description it does say spandex or polyester or some such thing.....but it was still advertised as a "sweater".

Measure it to find out. Depending on which sweatshirt, (or what Asians call a "Sweater"), you are thinking about ordering READ the COMPLETE DESCRIPTIONS & DETAILS THE SELLER HAS POSTED. The way I read it was sweatshirt #1 is an Asian size and must be upsized two sizes, the women's runs close to size and the 3rd & 4th options are in American sizes. The description information explains how to measure a garment to get the correct size so you're not having to return, exchange or be stuck with a garment or item if a seller has an "All sales are final. No refunds. No exchanges" policy. There are two different size guides posted, one by AMAZON on a blue hyperlink with a disclaimer stating their guide may not be the same as the sellers and you should go by the size guide the seller posted
