KitchenCraft Orange Peeler Set, Plastic, Orange, 7 cm, Set of 2

I had this in my basket for ages wondering if I really needed it. If you are like me and are undecided. Get it. It's the best orange peeler you can have. I wouldn't peel oranges without one now. What I did not realize and what makes this tool so useful it has 2 functions. I did not realize how useful the second function is. So it doesn't just slice up the peel perfectly without causing drips but once you have sliced up the orange peel slicing one way you then use this tool the other way round to separate the peel from the orange. This loosens the peel so it just flops off in the end. Before I would be pulling the peel off, rip the pulp, cause a dripping mess. It really makes a world of difference to have this tool which slides perfectly between the orange and the peel to loosen it first before pulling it off so I can highly recommend this. If you use it the way I have described it will transform your orange peeling in future.

This fab little item helps you peel an orange quickly and with ease with minimum of mess - perfect for office/school. Well priced, great useful item. One of those things you don't realise how much you will love and will use until you have one. I used to have something similar in my lunch box as a child and forgot about. Saw this when ordering other bits and just popped it on end of order. Now 1 permanently sits on my desk at work and the other lives in the kitchen draw, both used daily. Could I live a happy fulfilling life with out this? Yes of course! Would I miss it if I didn't have it? 100% yes! :)

The peeler works really well, I'm very pleased with it. However, I only received them 3 days ago and one is now in the bin at work because if the colour. Please consider changing it so it doesn't blend in with the peel.

I will no longer avoid buying oranges because they can be such a faff to peel, as these tiny little gadgets have made that task easy. I received them yesterday, & couldn't wait to grab one of the oranges I'd bought a couple of days before in anticipation of the Peelers' delivery! I positioned my thumb through one of them, as per illustration on the packaging, & away I went! The colourful, juicy ball was soon stripped of its outer coat allowing me to savour the sweet juicy flesh contained within. It was easy, taking less than 30 seconds, & so thrilled was I that I had three more oranges throughout the day & will have to go out to re-stock my bowl this afternoon!!!!

This is a great concept but in reality, not that great. It reduces the orange messiness by only a small fraction. Yes it "cuts" the skin but that's about it, you still get bits under your finger nails. It also can slightly cut the orange inner skin so you can get juice everywhere which you don't usually get when you peel it by hand. It only cost £1 so didn't break the bank but its not as efficient as the pictures make it seem. I'm only using it on smaller oranges, again the pictures make it seem like you can use it on large oranges. This is incorrect, it barely cuts the larger ones. They also need to change the colour. I see why they give you two because its so easy to accidentally throw out with the orange peels. Had to retrieve it twice now from the bin. I find that whilst it slightly reduces the peeling mess, apply too much pressure and you get a juice mess instead.

Lovely little thing that works like a dream. Easy, small and can be packed for picnics or to go to work.

Son de plastico resistente, facil de limpiar tras su uso, va cortando la piel de naranjas o limones sin llegar a dañar su interior con una pequeña uña en forma de cuchilla, recomiendo no apretar demasiado, un leve giro y esta cortado, buen producto a un buen precio.
