Wilson Men's Harmonized Golf Chipper (Right Hand, Steel, 35-Inch)

For what this club will do for your golf if you are like me you would have paid ten times the price. So chippers are a bit like hybrids and are getting more and more popular. And for good reason. I pay somewhere in the region of £350-£400 for a new driver every two years and this is out of brand loyalty not for any massive gains in my game. Having taken what was really a Half hearted purchase on this I am humbled to say it is a game changer not just for me but for my friends who all flocked over to my bag to see what it was. If Taylormade suddenly came out with one for £160 I would question why pay that for it as this Wilson chipper is quality. It has a good weight to the head which allows for constant speed through impact to the ball and follow through even through taller grass and even the rough. The best thing about the design is that you take a putting stroke and not a chipping swing. The extra weight of the head adds the required punch to send the ball off the face so control is maintained throughout the stroke. I am buying a second one of exactly the same loft so that I can always have it in my bag if the other gets damaged or more likely borrowed by friends.

This is a handy club to have in the bag if you're prone to duffing chips around the green. I did have trouble with shots from the fringe but this club makes them easy, it saves me one or two shots every round.

My husband has suffered with chipping in his golf game for the past 5 years, he went from a 9 handicap to 18 over a couple of years because of his chipping (its a mental game as most of us appreciate!!) he Lost interest because he couldn’t chip! As a last resort I bought this chipper for Xmas in the hope it might help his short Game! Well what can I say he genuinely hasn’t played for the last 5 months but his friend finally managed to get him out for a round and he used his new chipper and guess what he scored 46 points getting up and down every time! He is totally amazed and even he didn’t think he would manage to complete a round of golf without feeling devastated by his short game!! He can’t wait for his next round of golf!!! Great chipper from established company at a good price my chipping was terrible fat shots and thinned shots no confidence around green ,now actually look forward to chipping, Chipped in from 20 foot the other day for first time in years my whole game has improved now I'm not worried about my chipping.

Certainly improves your pitch if your on the fringe of a green, Have only used once so far and used it for a 20ft chip, got to within a couple of inches of hole for a par. Not saying it's a game changer mixed with a little luck but gives me a little more confidence..

This is my third one. I have got used to using this from around 50-60 yards distance and very comfortable using it Many of my colleagues don’t use any chipper But can’t do without it Drawback is it has a short life. The head breaks after about 10-12 months I feel guilty to claim refund when it breaks within warranty period as it has served it’s worth

Good quality club just felt I was cheating the game really and found I can use other clubs to get the same affect
