Amtech I3700 3 Piece 6mm (1/4'') Short Extension bar Set

These are the best 1/4" extention bars ever made. I paid over £100 for 3 well known branded ones and they are complete garbage compared to these. My friend and co-worker had put me on to these. He's had his for 12yrs and they're still like new work wise. Am Tech are in my opinion the best tools on the market and their prices can't be beat. I just keep adding more Am Tech tools to my collection and none have ever let me down. They are so well engineered and work so well I can barely believe the price is so low.

Excellent price at £2.93 from Bargain Warehouse and good delivery - so can’t complain at all. I only needed this as a spark plug extractor on the car, to fit my thin wall 16mm spark plug socket by Sealey, which is 3/8ths socket fitting. So it will be used rarely and it doesn’t matter too much how it is, as long as it does the job! Note lengths are22.5cm, 14.5cm, 7cm (not 15 and 7.5cm for latter two). (Length will change when in socket etc!) - Two of them should still reach into my engine block down a 10.5cm hole. Some may care, but I do not, because it just needs to do the job! The chrome colour looks like it may simply flake off at some point. The ball and spring on the long bar is weak and doesn’t hold the socket if I apply a small amount of pressure to pull them apart - the others are perfect. The middle bar at wider flange had some sharp edges on the flange, but easily filed/scraped off - be careful when you first handle them. So all in all - great price - does the job - only need them for spark plugs.

A tad cheap and cheerful but just what I needed to reach the spark plugs in the bowels of my car engine. Very reasonably priced and quick delivery.

A good little set to have in the garage for when you need that awkward nut undone that you can't get to. I had a problem with door motor nuts and these got me out of a jam. don't expect much torque from a 1/4 piece and be careful if you convert down from a 1/2 on a stiff bolt. Recommended for the tool box

Seems OK but obviously missing a piece before it was packaged. Luckily it's the small section and not really required.

A sturdy piece of kit, did the job I purchased it for, very satisfied.

The 4 faces of the internal drive are just flat, without notches, so they will not hold the mating part e.g. socket - which is no good. This important detail is not addressed in the description. Returned for this reason. Pity because this looks like a good quality product
