First Time Using This Product. It Went Really Well
I really like Easy Joint, it makes jointing a patio really easy. I used plenty of water and kept my Easy Joint in the container it comes in filled with water. I then used a plastering trowel to trowel it into the gaps and compress it down. My paving is Bradstone Old Town, some of the gaps are quite wide and they are all deep. after filling the gaps I used a kitchen wooden spoon to smooth it off. The finish looks fantastic. It's not cheap and we used a lot of tubs for the job but it was worth it.

Re-grouting - quality product, easy to use.
Follow the instructions and this product works very well, really itโs a 2 person job with one using a hose and the other a brush to push the grout into the gaps. It is on the expensive side but you do get what you pay for, any unused product needs to be put into the container (not the bag it was sealed in) and covered completely with water.

Really good product
Really really good product, easy to apply, stays โwetโ long enough to work it. Goes hard in a couple of days The reason for 4 stars only is that I donโt believe one tub will cover 20m2. My patio is 30m2, so calculated two tubs would suffice , however it needed 3 full tubs Maybe I didnโt use it efficiently ( my first time grouting the patio) That said I would def recommend this product

First time grouter, worked well for me!
EasyJoint worked really well for my patio, especially when using a larger brush to spread it around and a cheap handheld brush for finer adjustments on hands and knees. The process was straightforward, and the results were impressiveโweโll have to see how it holds up over time. If you're planning to use it, Iโd highly recommend watching some tutorials online for helpful tips, such as: - Avoid using it on a scorching day if you want more time before it setsโovercast or even slightly rainy conditions work best. - Keep both the grout and ground wet throughout the entire processโitโs better to use more water than too little. - Compact the grout down properly as you applyโI bought a cheap tool for this, and I'm hoping it's made a difference. One thing to noteโitโs on the expensive side, so factor that in when choosing a grout solution. Overall, it delivers great results if you follow the right process, at least in the very short term

Excellent product, if used to the instructions.
Firstly, I rately take the time to post a full review, but we are very impressed with this product, so far. We followed the instructions almost to the letter, other than pouring the sand/grout mix into the gaps between the slabs, rather than tipping the whole bag onto the slabs. Once carefully ensuring each gap was full and level we then used water on a fine mist to soak all the grout in water. It set within 24hrs and hardened. We even went over any areas that sunk slightly and added more grout sand. Tip: preparation was key. Clean out the old grout, fill any deep holes or gaps under slabs with builders sand until you are at least to the base of the slabs, or you will need a lot more grout, which is expansive. The results are lovely. Time will tell how well it weather or cracks up. It took three tubs to do this area.

Easy to apply and a great finish
I decided the time had come to re-grout my patio and as I'm getting on a bit and was doing it on my own I needed something easy to apply. The hardest part of the job was removing the old geofix grout but a pressure washer helped enormously followed by a bit of hammer and chisel work. Applying the Easyjoint was an absolute breeze, even on my own. After I'd worked out a technique with the first tub, the other 9 just flowed (literally!) I used a wide, soft broom and held the hosepipe pointing down the handle so I could sweep and spray simultaneously. To apply I dumped the compound strait out of the bag onto the floor and away I went. It only took a few minutes a tub to cover several square metres.. I did use a pointing tool to firm/ tidy the joints but it wasn't absolutely necessary, the finish was good as it was. After a day it had hardened without any noticeable smell and after a couple of days it was rock solid. Even my wife said I'd done a good job (praise indeed) and approved of the finish. Yes it's a bit expensive but as it allowed me to do a good job without the expense of a professional it was well worth the few hundred I spent.
