Pre-diabetic
I was recently diagnosed as being pre-diabetic. The GP said that I would have another blood test in a year. I thought that was too long and wanted to monitor things at home. I looked into glucose monitoring watches and all the evidence suggested that they do not work. When I investigated monitors, this had really good review. It is extremely well presented in its own case. Everything you need is included. I canโt stand finger pricks but I must admit with the one included it was simple, quick and pain free. Sometimes the reading does not come through so you have to wiggle the test strip around. I am really pleased with the price, quality and accuracy not to mention that it is so easy to use.

Great product.
Great for reading blood sugar levels, very easy to use. Comes with a nice case to keep the machine and other bits in, very handy when out and about. Would recommend and buy again.

Well pleased
This is now my third monitor and definitely the best yet. The quality is first class; easy to set up and to operate. The strips only need a small drop of blood which means the lance can be used at a lower setting which means less pain when doing the test. Also the best value for money at time of purchase. The case is of very good quality and very practical.

Good Device easy to use, but the batteries that come with it are no good.
Item arrived on time and is fairly easy to set up and use, the only gripe I have is that the two AAA batteries that come with it are very poor quality, and the low battery warning on the display was flashing as soon as they were installed. Why bother including batteries that are duff from the get go?

Excellent device
Ok guys I was worried about getting diabetes This is great and it comes with colour coded chart. Just make sure device is off and then insert strip the right way round. Apply blood on the tip of the strip in machine you don't need to spread it into it. The 10 second countdown begins then you get the mmol/L results The colour chart will show your reading. Also you will get a green light if it ok or red if it's too low or too high. Best wishes

A good little tracker for the price, ideal for a TypeII who has to buy their own.
I used to work for Lifescan, so I didn't expect much for the really low price. Pleasantly surprised. Well made. Easy to use. Accuracy I cannot say because I dont have a reference machine. It is compact. Pain is not too bad considering you are blatting you finger tip with a pin to get blood out. For ยฃ20 for a complete kit with 200 strips, it is very hard to beat. If I was type I, I would get given a big brand meter. Since I am Type 2, I am just looking to keep my BG under 7 - and change my lifestyle and metformin timing until it is. Type I's need something a bit better, and your GP should prescribe. But even then I bet it would be alright (if you need a spare to keep in the car for example).
