Bit of a turnup this bit of kit, really. For the money at just less than 18 quid, it's a steal.I wanted a small cordless rotary tool to take with me overseas as I work in the oil industry and in my off time like to do something interesting rather than drink and watch TV. So, I make models. And of course sometimes you need a means to make holes or generally cut stuff.As such I searched around and found this which, I took a punt on, figuring that if it was junk I hadn't wasted too much of my hard earned.Well, when it arrived I was pleasantly surprised to find a well made, easy to use and useful small rotary tool which absolutely nailed my modelling needs.The only other thing I did was buy a micro chuck that fits a Dremmel because that allows me to use any sized small drill bit as this, like other rotary tools uses collets which limits the options. Anyway, with the new chuck I had a perfect tool for less than 25 quid.In use it's vibration free, so hats of to the maker. It seems robust enough for my needs but obviously this is not the kind of workshop tool you would have for heavy DIY or industrial use. It's firmly in the hobby craft side of the market.It's charged by any USB source so you won't have any issues there. It lasts easily enough for my modelling needs and quickly charges up over a couple of hours.There is a small kit of bits which is a starter but you will of course need to add to this to make it properly useful.Overall, perfect for my needs.

The media could not be loaded.  An excellent little tool at an affordable price. Comes with a number of attachments all of which are easy to fit and very useful. It has a great battery and is rechargeable. The recharge time is quick and the usb cable to charge it is included. Also included are a set of stencils. The tool has three speed settings which are selected by pressing the button each time. The button will also turn the tool on and off. It's really useful for doing detailed work or getting into those hard to reach place. A very good tool that's durable, well made and easy to use. Really pleased with it.

I bought it a couple of months ago and after using it several times, I am happy with the purchase. I have used it on plastic and wood and it gets the job done. Another thing that I really liked was that I was finally able to make use of the Dremel multi chuck (4486) that I had bought for another rotary tool and the thread size was not compatible. But in this tool the chuck fits perfectly!

This really is a very small rotary tool, it is like a very large pen and it is really useful. I have a corded dremmel, which is a bit of a faff to plug in and a bit too big for really fine work. This little tool is cordless so very portable, small and light enough to hold like a large pen and powerful enough for lots of little jobs. I bought it for modelling and customising vintage star wars figures etc. So far out of the box it was charged and in use within minutes. It is very intuitive the collet locking knob is very obvious, works well and the supplied tools are easy to insert and lock in place. Just don't press the locking button instead of the off button, don't ask me how I know that! The power button and settings are simple and easy to use. The supplied tools are fine and I have used several already on a model, the sanding drum is particularly good for such a small piece of kit ( yes I am still surprised how physically small it is). I am really impressed and would strongly recommend.

This rotary tool is pleasantly small and light, keeps the tool well centered.I opened the tool because of vibration and noise. I fixed it with a narrow strip of electrical tape between the case and bearing/motor.While open I noticed that:* bearings are not sufficiently firmly fixed;* internal quality is suitable for the price, this tool has bearings and they should last;* small, maybe a 16340 battery, this means the tool is no more than 10W, probably less;* an ugly looking large screw on high speed shaft, that might work as a fan.The tool and the price are in balance.

Having read other reviews I invested in this tool, as other reviewers said the tool takes the Dremel keyless chuck which is great. As I build scale models in wood and plastic I needed a long lasting battery. It has three speeds and great torque as well as quick charging. As for value for money I have yet to find anything to match this, having bought many for engraving and drilling.Having used this for delicate grinding of a casting the tool did not let me down, charge time is sufficient would like quicker but not at the expense of usage time.Fitted the Dremel chuck so quick change sizes not a problem, as a result purchase of another is imminent.

Way smaller than expected, poor battery life, poor power delivery, just about useable. Absolute let down and quite frankly a waste of money. Lesson here, buy cheap buy twice.

Me convient pour le modélisme et l'impression 3D mais manque nettement de puissance.

Super, parfait pour mes cosplay

Arrivato nei tempi previsti. Funziona bene ma non bisogna aspettarsi forti prestazioni. L'ho provato in finiture di precisione su legno di consistenza media sia con rullino abrasivo sia con piccola fresa cilindrica (che avevo già): direi che ha lavorato bene. Per asportare strati più consistenti forse non è adatto. Insomma fa quello che mi aspettavo e se durerà nel tempo si meriterà la quinta stella che assegno sulla fiducia. Anche la durata della carica della batteria mi pare adeguata.
