Very happy with the upgrade
This is my second one of those. Very happy. The motors are quieter. Very smooth operation. The anti collision works much better with the reverse motion working well. I did battle a bit with the assembly however I think that was just me and the interaction from the seller was top class, with very quick communication. It weighs a ton but its so smooth and solid. With the value of what is sitting on top it is good to have reassurance that all is well. I see that they've dropped the cable cage but replaced with cable ties. This makes it easier and more flexible too access the wires. This is by far the most complex thing I've ever taken on to assemble. It did take me a fair time to do this this, however very pleased with the result Some reviews here say it rattles. I would say that perhaps they need to tighten their screws. It also does help to follow the instructions' which are very clear and informative. I see that the transformer simply hangs in its holder from the support beams. I thought that this was going to be the "rattle". However its as quiet as a mouse. No problem there, and again gives flexible options when assembling When I bought the first one of these they were only a few types offered. Now there has been an explosion probably due to working from home. It is relatively expensive but I think this is top class and excellent value for money

Excellent build quality
I'm really happy with this desk frame, the quality of the materials is excellent, each piece of the frame has a reassuring weight to it and is also well finished with no sharp edges and solid paint which you can see won't chip easily. I chose this frame over the cheaper model as it had a higher maximum load limit and now that I'll be working from home full time I wanted something that would stand up to every day use. The motors in each leg are also very quiet compared to the standing desk I used to have in my office (back in the days when we were all commuters!) It was very easy to assemble, it is also easy to adjust the width of the frame once you've placed the desktop on it to get everything lined up perfectly. To finish it off I also bought the bamboo desktop from Flexispot, more than I would normally spend but again as this is for every day use rather than occasional working from home I wanted something that felt good to sit/stand in front of!

Great
Have been using this for a few weeks now, it's great. They work fine, a fairly quiet purr as they go up and down. About the panel. It displays the height in cm & mm when less than 100 cm (screen can display 3 digits, so 60.0 up to 99.9) when 100 cm or above it shows in only cm (100 - 120) and the decimal point goes away. To change position, you can press and hold the preset button for a second, until it starts moving, then let go and it will continue until it reaches the position. Or you can press a button once to wake the panel, then again to start the movement. When it gets close to the final position it slows down and then stops. But you can press any button at any point to stop it right away. It did get caught once, but it stopped moving and just needed a reset. It is strong, stable etc. I have sat on it and gone all the way up and down without problem (I weigh about 75KG). Bear in mind, it's very heavy in the legs. So you will need someone to help you move it (unless you're a beast). Mines on carpet, so I can't even adjust the position by pushing it.

Good, but not exactly ideal
Mixed feelings about this one. Bought the frame for Flexispot EC5 mainly because has nice features : - it has dual motors - it's 3 stage leg design - up to 180 desk top surface support - up to 100 kg weight limit when you have stuff on it - has nice control panel with memory settings - supposedly has anti collision (Spoiler alert => it doesn't) as advertised on the flexispot website and amazon, bun when checked the manual it doesn't say anything about it (that's the manual It came with, not the one from wrbsite/Internet) Arrived well packed, instructions are useful, relatively easy to install, gave it 4 stars for this because it's complicated to do it by yourself especially when you need to mount the desk top over the frame. 2 people job it's most likely appropriate for this. Materials are of good quality however the design / implementation it's just bad: - The base have such a small contact area with the desk legs and it's held together by 2 big screws per leg only, which i guess it's fine - the 3 legs base design is reversed the bigger side it's located at the top of the leg, rather than the base which i think that it should be normal, check e6 or e7 version or any other desk manufacturer for that fact and they have the larger part at the bottom of the leg and the narrow part that the top. This is why i think it wobble when it's at a higher setting, might not be much for others but for me it counts. It's still strong and sturdy materials wise don't get me wrong, but when assembled together it feels that something is missing to give that stability. Probably it's something it's happening a lot with the majority of desks at a high setting. The most disappointing fact is the marketing of anticollision system, which it's lacking. When pressing the buttons to change the sensitivity it doesn't work, always it's displaying A0 which it's equal with disabled. I can't enable it as explained on the info found on Internet, which makes me believe it's not a feature of this desk.
