Had an issue with the first one sent to me but they were amazing and sent me a replacement immediately. Had it the next day. The new one is working and is perfect for what we need, cooking on the Blackstone!

Bought this to use with my Blackstone griddle, works wonderfully.Pros: compact, magnet on the back, does double duty with both IR and meat probe, has a lighted display, has Max Min and Avg modes.Cons: it's awkward to point it at the griddle and read the display at the same time.

This item works great. Easy to use for meat prop and also to check how hot any pan is cooking at the right temperature. It's just as describe in the description. If I need another in the future I will buy one.

I have been using ThermoPro temperature probes and guns as well as their hygrometers for several years and decided to get the 2-in-1 unit to cut down on the number of gadgets I take out to my grill. This unit is almost perfect. It reads the surface of my griddle and gives me the internal temp of what I am cooking. It is easy to see with the light that comes on when you press the read button. For almost perfect, the only problem I have is reading the surface temperature upside down. Please, ThermoPro, flip this. You will make a lot of people happy!

Exactly what we wanted and it measures the griddle temps and shows the differences in the surface. The probe works as advertised.

I am considered to be a great cook. I have several Thermo Pro items that I love. However, this Thermo Pro two in one Instant Infrared Thermometer is useless to me and the only Thermo Pro item I have ever returned. The main reason is that you need a flashlight and magnifying glass to read the 4 buttons on the front! I was anxious to try it the day it came in so was prepared to grill a Prime grade Rib Eye. I picked it up to get ready to use and could not tell what the buttons were for as the probe I ordered was orange and buttons orange with very pale white writing. So I just got my regular Thermo Pen probe thermometer and packed my new one up. Sorry Thermo Pro. This is not up to par with my other TP products! Returning this.
