I ordered this map to go with my escape & evasion kit that, it represents what was issued to the US 82nd airborne troops in operation market/Garden. Go’s fantastically with my impression. Highly recommend if you’re after a historically correct map.

Good quality silk scarf with a great historical theme very comfy & warm to wear

This is a beautiful scarf and also a moving reminder of the escape maps that helped Allied pilots and prisoners of war to find their way to safety. As a map enthusiast, I am interested in the history of maps and am delighted to have this elegant accessory that reflects my interests but is also a great addition to my wardrobe. I'm sure it will be a good talking point.

Great idea but I was hoping the maps would be sharper. If you actually wanted to navigate with it you’d struggle

If someone is interested in the history of the 1939-45 global military engagement which changed the history of the world forever, s/he could collect this silk scarf. It is poignantly wonderful, reminding the collector of the days when the R.A.F. personnel were at 'their finest hours'.

Beautiful fabric, and while it might look a little too yellow on the image, the color is very nice. The scarf is big enough for a man's neck !

My partner had seen an original silk escape map and thought it not only a great piece of history but also a beautiful object and wanted one. I bought her this one as a surprise and she loved it. Grat detail and fine quality.

The person it was bought for thinks it's lovely. That's a start. When she worked out what it was, she laughed. That's a plus. And we're going back to Germany and I'm rubbish with maps.

Très beau fac-similé, les couleurs de la carte sont fidèles, l'impression est fine et la soie de qualité. Ou comment transformer un objet historique en accessoire de mode. D'une époque à l'autre, on ne mesure parfois pas assez la chance qu'on a de vivre (relativement) en paix…
