Awesome!
I'm a manager of product managers. I read the book over the weekend and was duly impressed with the content. Whilst Haines targets the book for newer product managers, I found it a refreshing way to re-boot my mind and to recharge my team! I purchased 10 more copies. I even gave a few to my colleagues in development, QA, and sales so they could better understand our contribution. It's a winner!

It's more "belletristic" book than guide or manual. Who likes to read about the point, could be satisfied. I prefer tools and concrete examples than "political background of the issue"

Tutto ok, ho acquistato questo prodotto con Amazon prime. Consegnato nei tempi stabiliti e prodotto intonso come l'imballo. Libro di spessore per imparare il product management e allenarsi, perché no, con la lingua inglese.

Great read. Awesome book.
This book is truly great. I am not a Product Manager by nature, but after reading it, I was able to infer a lot of underlying principles in regards to how to work with others. This book is great and able to provide people with the right guidance to succeed as a new product manager within an organization. Great read.

Great for starting out in product management
This book cleary contains the best pieces of advice for product managers that start out, but is also worth reading for seasoned pros who want to elevate their role to another level. Mr. Haines covers all relevant topic, the "product issues" as well as managerial and organizational issues. While this may not be all you need to learn, it is surely great for providing a sound basis and giving a perfect overview of the pm's role, its tasks, tools, problems and possible solutions. It is written in plain english and easy to comprehend. Very good.
