Work Great For What We Need
These so far have held up! I was a little worried with the reviews saying they break easily. But we needed this type of arm because clearly our fence isnโt the correct type of fence. Ours was bigger being at 2in instead of 1. 5/8in the fact that these came with one piece separately. Kinda hard to explain but these worked out so nicely. We painted it to match so it didnโt look so bad.

Does what it is designed to do
Not sure why the negative reviews. I used these to heighten our chain link fence for a jumping German Shepard. These seem solid enough and hold the wire in place if itโs tensioned from another source such as an end post at each corner of the fence. They are not tension points. they are for separating and holding the wires in place. No complaints.

Meant as a deterrence
Will probably keep dog from jumping but don't expect to string your barb wire on too tight as they are prone to snapping. As others suggested a screw in between or a bicycle tube works to tighten the product on smaller fences.

I didn't like them
Weak and made of very easy to bend metal, the clamps bent the first time I used them. Cost too much to be this cheap in my opinion.

Easy to install
Worked great to keep my dog from jumping the fence All I had to do is put yellow nylon rope instead of wire and the dog stays in the backyard

Hard To Find In Hardware Stores
Great hardware for adding barb wire to existing wire fence top rails. Fence contractors do not carry them

Weak Metal
Not Strong Enough Very Week, Metal canโt put any kind of tension because it will bend and break.

Works Good
My fence rail is a little too small for the clamps at the end but once I put the wire on them they seem sturdy enough.
