This machine is great! Great quality it battery last and it really leaves your skin soft, great for its value, it does shave great love the sturdy case that came with it and is not heavy at all very lightweight

Well rounded and best, reliable value for money. I previously left a bad review about this product. But I admit it was due to not ensuring the blade was fully aligned with the trimmer. As long as its aligned, you'll have a great even shave. I've been using for 2.5 years and love it

This is the second one of these I have owned. The first the adjustment dial fell apart afer 2.5 years of service. I actually only use it once every 1 to 3 weeks, so was disappointed in the break but didn't have time to research and choose a different one. I had owned Norelco's before it with one that lasted 2 years and one that last 8 years. I switched from Norelco because of the one that lasted only 2 years. That said, this trimmer is effective at keeping my beard decently groomed. Depending on time of year and my time, I use it to trim my beard down to even it out or shorten it about once every 1 to 3 weeks. In summer I might use it once a week or two weeks to keep it shorter in warmer weather. In winter or when I'm very lazy then its once every 3 weeks or so. This trimmer is effective at that - though the longer the beard and the shorter you take it, the more passes that are needed. I have sensitive skin and it doesn't really irritate my skin. It is as quiet as a shaver is expected to be. I really only use a few of the accessories... the storage pouch and shaver holder (should come standard, not really accessories), the long beard trimmer, and the eyebrow trimmer. They are work decently. The blades are sharp and have no trouble, though I am not cutting a long, thick, heavy beared. The battery life is very good - never an issue and I recharge every 3 to 5 uses. Its compact, portable, and like I said stores grreat in its zippered holder - that should be standard item that come with it. I hate that they sell multiple levels of accessory packages because I have to make sure which one comes with what I want, they should just sell the bare bones unit if you are replacing and still have everything or the full accessory one. The plastic pieces can't add that much cost. And speaking of cost, I do think these are overpriced, but all the decent ones seem to be.

This does the job. The attachments and blade selector dial make trimming so much easier than trying to trim the old fashioned way.

I have had several beard trimmers over the years. The Braun is the best one yet. The hair guide works better in directing the hairs into the cutting head. I especially like the large range of hair length adjustment with just the turn of a dial. It also comes with a nose hair trimmer which works better than to others I have had. The other attachments work well, but I do not use them normally. It also came with a blade razor (which I never used) but I wish it came with a foil shaver instead. Over all it is a great beard trimmer. I highly recommend it.

I’ve had this trimmer for a couple of weeks now and honestly love it. I’ve gone through a bunch of different trimmers over the years, and this one might be my favorite. The adjustable guard settings are great. You can really dial in the length you want, and it's very consistent all around. Doesn't catch or pull on the hair either and it's surprisingly quiet. The build feels pretty sturdy overall. I saw a few reviews mention the adjustment wheel breaking, but I think as long as you're not rough with it, it should hold up just fine. The travel case is a nice bonus. One thing to note is the guard can fill up with hair pretty fast, so you might need to go over the same spot a couple of times. But it still works great. I also like that I can plug it in for a minute or two and get enough charge for a quick trim if I’m in a rush. Overall, happy with it and got it for a solid price.

Fantastic shaver

Like: Cutting with raw blade without the adjustable combs. Sleek for any hand size. Reasonable vibration and charging life. Don't Like: Cutting hair with combs. Neither the large or the short combs cut the hair evenly. Cutting on the side of the head is ok. When you cut your hair on any curved surface like the top of the head or the crown the hair is uneven. Tried for 6 months with various settings with the same uneven hair length after the cut every time. Tried every blade angle and contract surface in vain. There is always a small bunch of hair in all those curved areas longer than the others - just not in one place but all over uniformly uneven. Some are still the same original length that was before the cut and some are kind of in between the original length the new cut based on the setting. Their R & D need to really pay attention to this. I have been using other Braun products made by original owners from way back but this was my first disappointment with this brand. I have been doing the at home hair cut for 13 years with Wahl and Norelco. I never had this kind of experience in cutting with uneven lengths. I think the combs are pressing the hair down while cutting - no matter whether you do it slowly or with any reasonable speed. I even tried with the slowest hand move and pressure to avoid pressing down the hair. Nothing worked. Hope they care about not ruining a good product because of some faulty comb designs. btw, I hate the cross bridge on the small comb since it just a nuisance in misguiding the flow and is rather a negative feature than a positive. I believe the designers may have a good reason behind it but in reality it doesn't work well or I didn't understand it properly.

This Braun Shaver surprises me. It don't pull your hair nor bite your skin and it perform just like my Braun shaver series 7. Excellent !. I was a bit apprehensive initially when I realized it's made in China and its quality might falter. Luckily it was a very good set. Don't regret buying it. Good price and excellent product.
