Is this compass accurate?

I suppose it's accurate in that it wants to point north. But there's a lot of friction in the bearing; you have to twist it a couple of time to get things moving and when it does settle down it's hard to know whether it stopped at north or stopped because of friction. For really cheap wrist compasses I've had better luck with the "SE CCV18 1 Precision 'Watch Band Clip-On' Navigation Compass"; it's in my pocket as I write. The Suunto Clipper Compass is the best one to buy; works flawlessly every time. Keep in mind that accuracy in a compass this size is iffy at best. You'll be able to tell the difference between a cardinal point and an ordinal point, but anything more accurate than that is asking a bit much.
