Abu Garcia Pro Max & Max Pro Low Profile Baitcast Fishing Reel

I used a 9lbs braid and a 20lbs braid and tested them today. on the 9lbs 12.5g is minimum weight I found. with the 20lbs line I found that hard plastic lures work best. A little noisy and heavy but casts well. Thank you seller. :)))

This reel says right handed (box) suggesting the "box" part of the reel is in your right hand and the handle on the left. (Like the photo indicates) It is actually NOT this way. You wind with your right hand and hold the reel (box) in your left.

This is the real reel. Casting is quite and smooth. I can cast a weightless plastic worm distances that blows my mind. This reel you can tell is made to be used for a long time. Retrieve is remarkable, just 1 full turn of the handle brings 28 inches of line onto the spool. Alot of copy cats out there with a lot of plastic parts. When you hold just the reel in your hand and feel the weight of this reel your mind is going to tell you this is the real reel deal. I purchased 1 and a few days later bought another.

Tengo un buen tiempo de que adquirí un carrete Abu García de la serie Black Max que compre en conjunto con uno de marca genérica, este último a pesar del mantenimiento empezó a darme problemas, el Black Max sigue trabajando como si fuera nuevo, por ello decidí sustituir el genérico por otro Abu García, pero al ver la pequeña diferencia de precio en este carrete de la serie Pro, me aventure a comprarlo, fue una muy buena decisión, llegando me fui a probarlo en una mañana de pesca, es un carrete más suave de trabajar, silencioso y muy poderoso en las recogidas, aunque el Black Max es muy buen carrete si es notable la diferencia, definitivamente no tienes que gastar muchos miles de pesos para tener buenos equipos, a los peces no les importa, Abu García es una garantía de calidad a un muy buen precio, la entrega como buena costumbre de Amazon en tiempo y forma.

We bass fish a lot and these are the perfect high quality light weight reel for everyday use. Nothing too fancy so it's fine letting the kids and teens use, but also it is not junk and it works well. Doesn't snag easily, keeps tension on the line, casts great. Easy to put on any pole we have used and its really durable. Stays outside in an enclosed shed but not climate controlled and have had no rusting or issues. This is at least the third or fourth abu garcia bait cast reel we have purchased and it was yet again a win. This white color also looks really sleep and high quality.
