In most ways I like it
Being out and about it can be useful to have the ability to "crank some power", with this portable radio/SOS/torch.Firstly, the build quality is quite good, decent plastics doesn't feel fragile in any way, even the handle at the back which slots into the body feels solid and robust enough. Though it's not super small, it isn't heavy and with the "extra" features I think the size is perfectly fine.Onto the radio first 3 settings FM, AM and WB (weather broadcast), the FM reception without issue, pull up antenna (perhaps could be a bit longer), seems to hold signal quite well even in somewhat patchy areas. AM does work (in some countries it's not used any more), but the 4-level bar display interferes with it when it is lit up. The battery level takes about 30 seconds to go out, then the AM can be used, perhaps some additional shielding could be used to fix this bug. Not a huge thing for me as I mostly use the FM radio.SOS button press to emit a quite jarring emergency audio signal, certainly loud enough to attract attentionTorch has 3 LEDs on the bottom, output seems to be around 50-60 lumens comparing it to other torches I have. Quite a useful level and more than enough for emergency use or to see where you are going at night. Fairly blue tint to the beam in the middle, with a decent spread and range too. Also seems fine with some light rain, not soaked it, but don't submerse the radio either! Rubber covers for ports do their jobOne minute of cranking gets 5 mins radio, 15 mins torch - so they say seems unusual. Either way the cranking does put power into the unitThe 4000mAh is accurate on my tests (charging range 1A odd via USB-C they do give you a cable), you will get about 60% out of that using it as a power bank type A port is present (due to conversion of voltage), in line with other power banks, enough for a phone top up. The solar panel on top, well let's be frank here - it would take weeks of very bright light to charge this from flat. As a top up charge leaving it in light when not in use, don't expect to refill the battery from flat quickly. Still, I don't mind it being there either, no small panel can give a big charge. Red LED glows to lets you know it is charging via the panel. Best to leave it in light to top off the charge.Battery lasts quite some time the radio will go on running for an extended period. Having alternative methods of power is useful I think anyway. Perhaps the cranking is the most obvious advantage, a few minutes rotating that and you could run the radio for an hour or so. I wanted this when I am out and about, fishing and things like that. For this purpose, I think it's ideal. This is not an expensive radio, nor super small - yet I find it to be a solid purchase and the price is quite reasonable for what you get. I do wish though; they had included a headphone socket for times I would like to listen to the radio late at night.Still despite a few quirks and omissions, I am quite happy with this a solid buy.

Does not charge
So though this would be great for my upcoming camping trip. The wind up charge works fine however when I plug it in to charge from the mains it does not charge. Will try to get a refund/replacement but as it is not in stock I won't hold my breath

Faulty product and terrible customer service
I was very disappointed when I realised that the solar panel on my radio was not recharging the battery. I contacted the iRonsnow customer support who said that they were aware of the issue and - get this - that I should buy one of their portable solar panels to charge the radio!! Absolutely ridiculous.... I contacted them several times since to say that they should provide additional product to me as compensation, but they have not responded..... Terrible customer support for a faulty product!!
