Saved us!
The product is good. They are hard to get on your shoes the first time, but after that, much easier. We just had a big snow and ice storm, these saved us from slipping and sliding!!

not big enough for hiking boots - ok for light duty
Given the impossibly cheap price of $12 for 2 pairs - don't expect too much. Will stretch over a man's dress shoe, but not a hiking book. And that's the Large size.

A must use for snow and ice.
These are wonderful. Very easy to put on your shoes. They really grip the snow and ice. If you've ever fallen - you know how disastrous that can be. Do yourself a favor and get a pair.

Replacement for old ones
These are better than our old ones. Metal pieces are in front and back. Old ones just in front. Glad I found these! Will help for shoveling snow out front and on walks on icy sidewalks

Good occasional use cleats for size <12
I have a house in Colorado, and we get snow several times a year, typically. It usually evaporates (sublimates) relatively quickly, except on my front walk, which faces north. The shadow from the house coupled with above-freezing temperature creates a glacier that can persist for days or even weeks, unless I get out there and clean it up. And that's where the problem comes in. The first step off the front porch can be quite dangerous, as I, my daughter, and my wife have each fallen on the ice out there. So I now have two sets of these by the front door to aid in clearing the front walk. However, they really don't fit my size 12 tennis shoes and don't even come close to fitting my size 12 snow/hiking boots. They do, however, barely fit my 11 1/2 (US men) shoes. So these are primarily for the girls in my house, and I use a set of strap-on cleats that have no size limitation. Just be aware, even if you have slightly smaller shoes, you need to have a good grip to put these on. If they spring loose while you're stretching them to fit your shoe, they can whack your hand with the steel spikes, and it may leave a mark.I wouldn't pretend that these would work for much more than around-the-house activity or as a travel spare. They are great for what they are and will increase safety significantly, but if you have big feet/shoes/boots then you need to consider another set specifically designed for larger shoes.

They won't stay on my shoes
Without walking and just happened to look down because I didn't hear the clinking noise from my right foot to find that one of the slip guards had come off I backtracked about 50 ft and found it on the ground. Putting it back on it continued to slip off so I just had to remove both of them as the other one was trying to come off my shoes I wear a nine and a half and these are supposed to fit a 10 to 11 size shoe

Worked perfectly
The media could not be loaded. Purchased as we were going to an ice walk in the Mountains. They worked better than expected. I was walking down hill on ice with no hands and the spikes held.It takes a bit to put them on but they fit on size 9 boots. Would recommend.

Excellent product
Easy to use and works very well

Good
Exactly as described. The claw like prongs work really well for navigating those icy sidewalks and the rubber stretches to fit different types of boots.

Didn’t last the hike… HUGELY DISAPPOINTED
Initially they worked great, really good traction on ice and snow and easy to put on… unfortunately by the time I reached the top of a 4hr return hike, I had lost 50% of the spikes and by the end there were 80% gone. Not worth the bother. Unless you wanna buy 1 new pair for every hike 😅

Bad experience
It is hard to wear and often falls off when walking. If I buy it again, I will definitely not buy this kind again.
