Renew Life Extra Care Digestive Probiotic 50 Billion CFU

I gotta say, I'm a believer in probiotics. I was pretty skeptical trying probiotics, but figured with all the good reviews about it, I'd give it a shot. Over the past two years, my digestive system started to slowly get worse. I was becoming less and less regular and having more diarrhea than normal after eating certain foods. So I started doing a lot of research. Many great suggestions of just doing a daily journal of what I ate and drank during the day. I started out by just cutting out different foods, but it didn't help that much, then being a fan of beer, I starting cutting out certain styles of beer and of course reducing the amount consumed, but that didn't help that much, so lastly I cut out the one thing I was hoping wasn't causing it and that was coffee. I love drinking coffee and would typically have 2 to 3 cups a day, but I started noticing that after I ate food, I'd have to immediately go to the bathroom, which is not fun to have that feeling. But, once I cut it out, my stomach was almost back to normal and was pretty relived. I did a lot of research on coffee and found that it's really not that great on a person's digestive system and that it can cause people to have daily diarrhea. Anyway, after about a year of not drinking coffee, things were a lot better, but my stomach still responded poorly to certain things I ate, but never consistently. That's when I finally heard about probiotics. I don't have a huge basis to go off of since I've only tried one other probiotic brand besides this one, but it has really helped bring my digestive system back to normal. I actually started drinking coffee again, but only about a cup a day and I don't have nearly the stomach problems I had previously from drinking it. I definitely have to credit Ultimate Flora. I can only guess that it's helped replace the bacteria or enzymes that my stomach lacks in my gut and it's able to respond a lot better to coffee again. Either way, it's awesome to feel normal after eating and not have to worry I'm going to be in the bathroom a short time later.

Health is wealth, it's true! (and ill health cost costs a lot!) Here's a daily/every-other-day supplement we all need because chances are your diet isnt supplying it, and now doctors are saying good 'gut' health is key to preventing/avoiding many illnesses and pain. This stands out among other choices because it's a high quality probiotic for a good price that works. Don't waste money on cheap stuff that makes promises and doesn't work because it's not fresh (hugely important) and strong enough (at least 30million is the minimum recommendation)! Honestly there are about 3 brands that really work, this is one. I say stick with them, try another if you want, no need to overthink these things. I bought this for an older (early 60s) beloved family member who had colon-related problems for a few years and recently surgery for it. After leaving the hospital the doctor gave her a poor quality probiotic that didn't work, so she didn't understand why people raved about how good they can be... until I bought this for her as a gift (had it shipped to her house). Two days later I got a happy email saying "Wow! What's in this stuff?! Fantastic", and though she's not thrilled to need to buy probiotics at all- an added expense in a tight income home, she knows this is quality and for about $1 a day, worth it to improve her health and make her feel good again/take away daily pains. You don't want to be cheap with these- they will cost around $25-35 for (approx 1 months) supply, something to accept. If that's too much, cut costs elsewhere, or even use this every other day. It will still work. Dietitians insist to chose a probiotic that's at least 25-30 Billion count, slow release and was stored right (low temps are best, out of sun/humidity/refrigerated if possible). Yes this will go through lousy conditions on the way to be shipped after you order it but one time exposure won't destroy the quality and effectiveness, put your mind to rest about that. Alternately you can check your local health food store or Vitamin Store to see if they carry it- if not request it!

I will begin with a disclaimer: I've been told that receptivity to probiotics is extremely personal, and that different folks will have success with different brands and formulas. I personally tried several before these, and none of them did anything for me. That said, these Renew Life probiotics have honestly changed my life. I have struggled with extremely painful gas and bloating since childhood, most likely aggravated by my Type 1 diabetes. I have tried every natural remedy in existence, from fennel tea to peppermint aromatherapy to "tummy-taming yoga" exercises -- and, as noted, many, many other probiotics. At my doctor's recommendation, I simply continued trying different brands of probiotics...and then I tried these. Now, I go through most days with ZERO stomach pain. I'm just now realizing how much I'd gotten used to at least one bout of serious pain every day. It feels miraculous to go through my work day with a comfortable stomach! I can't guarantee that these will work for you, but I can say that I will never go without them again. (And, this is the best value I've found anywhere, too -- yay, Amazon!).

I was sick back in January, and I noticed for several weeks after that my digestive system was off. I was constantly gassy and bloated and going to the bathroom was more difficult than usual. After waiting it out for a few weeks I finally decided it was time to try a probiotic. Within a few days I started to feel back to my usual self, no more bloating and discomfort. It's not a miracle pill-- as someone with chronic issues I still definitely get digestive issues now and then, but after taking it for several weeks I think on the whole I've had fewer instances than usual. It's on the reasonable end of the price spectrum for probiotics, so I'm willing to give it a few months and see if the effects are cumulative, or if I should save it as an occasional corrective for more accurate issues.

Game changer - I’ve been irregular my entire life with the exception of going vegan for 9 months in my mid 20’s. I’ve been using this probiotic for 2 weeks now. I purchased the Item for use after some weeks antiobiotic use, and was drawn to the fact it uses 12-strains of bacillus, and was of a high-count. Also, due to my age, and a not stellar diet, I knew my e-colli was not doing the two-step. It was, on that count, very effective. May I add, TOO effective! It was able to restore a consistency I had not realized was there anymore. However, it also became necessary, at want at being insensitive, necessary to take a shower after every bm if I wanted to be fully "clean". I now know where bidets would have come in handy. And I am only getting into these details, because if you are spending this kind of money, and reading these kinds of numbers, you probably want to have measurables and observables. As nice as it was, to have bms every day, I must admit, after going away for a week, and having a "more normal" to me, that is, bm, I felt untethered to the toilet. So, that is why I give it 5xs. It's good; but, BeWare is what you're getting into. RETURNS: After giving it 60-days I was still getting loose stool, unformed, and I'm not sure if that's how its supposed to work, but I wasn't too happy with it. I wanted to get my digestion more scheduled, especially when moving away from fast food and to a cleaner diet. There are numerous products out there that claim the same thing or more. After watching several online dietitian videos, this one stood out for me. It's high in the main ingredients I was focusing on, and seems to be the main ones for most of this type of product. I have a very sensitive reaction to medication and foods. I have IBS, and growing up if something I eat doesn't sit well, I get hot flashed, nauseous and eventually throw up for hours or days. So, I was very nervous with this product. However, it caused no side effects. I was able to eat more easily, on a regular schedule, and felt a lot better. It didn't do much to my allergy reactions to the outside environment or anything like that, but definitely helped with my digestion and have kept this as a regular order going forward.

This is the only probiotic product that worked for me.! Am suffering inflammatory bowel disease (ibd) and this product has helped me immensely with the bloating and acid reflux. ..the seller is very prompt in delivering...thanks a ton...!

I trust Brenda Watson, so -- when needed -- I use products she recommended, following her criteria. I eat well and healthy (almost bio) and I do not have health problems but, if I go in vacation or if I must spent, by accident, several days in hospital, I use to use probiotics. And "Ultimate Flora" is one of my preferred. Expensive, I admit, but efficient by its quality. Delivered in time and very good conditions, It repaired my (all) flora and I feel excellent. Occasionally (if needed), my family and my friends use it too.

Took the pills and they had zero effect. Did the milk test with the same result: nothing happened. Is this because the product was sent to Germany (where I live) and it was not kept cool enough during delivery? I don't know but am very dissappointed, even more so because the pills are not exactly ceap
