The carbide teeth are attached well, and the entire unit is centric. But the teeth aren't as sharp as some of the higher end bits. A good bit for the price, just be sure to drill slower and use lubricant. I'm using this to drill holes in 1/8" stainless plate and it does a good job.

As a professional contractor for 60 plus years I have several sets of hole saws. All from top manufactures and none of them can come close to how accurate this hole saw is. I needed a 4 1/2" and my old one needed replaced. Anyone who uses hole saws knows they are almost all just a little out of round. I needed to make 18 ash spiral stair treads and match the center post. Accuracy was important and this looked like it was built much better than the traditional type. The hole saw and arbor are all one piece so NO out of round. The holes were ROUND and so smooth I didn't need to sand them to match the column. I build custom furniture for interior designers for years so I know how important accuracy is and this is it.Lorenzo

The pic made me think the teeth were a bit wider. I was doing an odd project where I was drilling a shelf into an aluminum exhaust flange, so I needed the teeth to be a bit wider as the pics looked.It did a real good job of cutting, so for its intended purpose I'd say it is a great product.

got stuck once or twice cause my drill is weak but it managed to get through an eighth inch aluminum plate. Good enough for me.

Bought this hole saw to make a 4 1/2" hole in metal and it did exactly that. No complaints.

It did great on the first two holes. Then on the third hole it stopped cutting well broke a pilot bit and had real problems. The fourth hole was a disaster, broke 2 pilot bits before I realized the problem: it lost 3 of the 6 carbide tips. I finished the last hole with a step bit.So three holes killed it.
