Great magnet for what I needed. I was going to make a model electric motor, and this magnet was perfect for the project. They are very strong, and therefore are quite difficult to separate. It is a big magnet, but one of them did break on me when someone was playing with them. It breaks into very sharp shards, and one cut my finger without me noticing. If you know what you are doing, these magnets are perfect

The magnets are not in the perfect condition that they show in the photo. However the damage that has happened to them has been recoated in the Nickel/Copper coating. They are pretty strong magnets as well. Idk about N-52, but they are very strong.

UPDATE: Ordered six more today. Have them holding various crimpers on the underside of the toolbox lid; now for the dikes and needle nose.Original: NOT easy to remove. I WANT them hard to remove. Rare Earth magnets in general are strong and they fit my needs. I have several sizes and shapes stuck to the side of my rollaround toolbox and when I need one I pull from that "storage." I have found numerous uses over years, from keeping things open to keeping things closed; keeping things attached to other things; keeping things at odd angles; and as spacers to keep things apart (rather counterintuitive). Is this the perfect shape and/or size? Yes, it is for the purpose for which I will select it eventually. Multiple sizes and shapes on that toolbox make every one of them perfect for the task eventually and at the moment I need them.

These magnets are not as strong as a similar N52 magnet that I have. They are fairly strong but there is a considerable difference in the pull strength. This gives me doubt that they are actually N52 grade magnets.
