Perfect BeautyCounter CleanDeo Replacement!
I am SO thrilled by this product! I am sensitive to many natural deoderant ingredients but I don't know which ones, exactly, so it has been trial by armpit fire. I finally found a match with BeautyCounter Clean Deo in Coconut...and then I could no longer get it. After trying lots of irritating and expensive products, I found Native--hooray!! It has many of the same ingredients as the BeautyCounter one. It works well, smells great and NO IRRITATION!!! Perfect replacement and at a much better price point!!! I LOVE that it is 100% plastic-free. This product is a huge win for me and I plan to stay loyal to this brand for as long as it's around!!!

Three pack may not be plastic free, full review.
I love, love, love that this applicator is plastic free! But I’m super disappointed that the 3-pack was shipped in a plastic wrap. I’m not sure if that faux-pas is on Amazon or on Native. As others have described, there’s some difficulty trying to take the lid off because of a vacuum effect. Likewise, the tight fitting lid is also difficult to slide back on. I’m looking forward to trying the trick others have suggested about cutting slits or triangles into the bottom of the lid. When about half of the product has been consumed, there is a tendency for the cake to fall out of the applicator. This is mostly due to the user sweeping the product when it is applied. I’ve learned that if I stick my fingers up the tube and press the product into the skin, there aren’t the same shearing forces to knock the cake out. It’s just a more secure way to hold the applicator overall. When the applicator is almost empty, the edges of the applicator are a little uncomfortable digging into the skin.I’m also a little disappointed with the price point. The cost is about triple of the deodorant I replaced. I’m hoping this idea catches on and the price comes down as scale goes up. I’m just really glad Native has made this thing I’ve been looking for.For full disclosure, I’ve used three or four full applicators of the charcoal scent. There was a lot I liked about it, but a charcoal stain was starting to build onto my white under shirts. I’ve bought this 3-pack to sample other scents and see if I avoid the same staining.

So far so good but haven't tested it with major exertion yet.
So far so good. I haven't actually run a marathon or gone for very long bike rides or walks so I'm not sure how well it's going to do Under greater exertion but I like that it's in a paper container and that it doesn't have additives I don't need and it doesn't have a scent.

A natural deodorant that works
It’s wonderful! I had my doubts that it would work for me because of the way I sweat, but it’s been working great. It’s smooth and glides on well. There’s no residue on my clothes. I bought the three pack and each of them smell very nice. The real test will be the summer. This is only May so we’ll see. I’ll edit if need be.

Bad Packaging
This is a great product that I've used for years, but I HATE this new 100% plastic free packaging. The deodorant gets the paper wet and it expands so it's impossible to slide the top back on. I have to leave it off so it gets dry and flaky. I appreciate you trying to be environmentally friendly, but you really missed the mark. The packaging needs to be redesigned to make the top larger than the bottom!

Saving the planet is a nice goal... this won't do it. Can't suggest this ever.
In the past, I've really liked Native deodorant. It works well, the formula is very nice on my skin, the scents are a little strong for me, but not unpleasant. This No-Plastic version is awful. The actual words I want to use would make my review not get published, please use your imagination. The cardboard containers either are too hard to open and close or they are so loose that the cap won't stay on. If too loose, the deodorant dries out and is very painful against the skin and you end up throwing out most of the stick. This is awful because this deodorant is EXPENSIVE. And how are you saving the planet if you make a product that ends up having to be thrown away after just being used a few times? If the container is difficult to open and close, then you end up damaging the container trying to get it opened or closed (which can lead to the same problem as if the container is too loose). Not only that, but when the lid finally pops off, if you have used more than half the stick, the stick of deodorant has a very high chance of jumping out of the cardboard tube and landing on the floor. The deodorant isn't held in the container by anything beyond gravity, and maybe hopes and dreams. So, once you get to the last 1/4 of a stick, it becomes nearly impossible to use because any pressure against the stick makes it fall out of the container and hit the floor. Which also ends up deforming the stick so you can't get it back into the container... and. you throw out more deodorant. There is no advancement mechanism, so you have to reach up inside the tube and push the cardboard under the stick up to advance the deodorant. Which works... except that there's nothing preventing the stick from just pushing itself back down either when it wants or when you use it. You end up having to clutch at the stick, through the cardboard tube, and hope that you have a good enough grip to hold it in place while you use it.I'm used to using deodorant until there is literally nothing left of the stick. So it offends me horribly to have paid this much for deodorant, but then have to throw out nearly half of it because the sticks dried out to the point of not being able to be used, or not being able to use the last quarter or so because there is no way to hold it in the tube.I will not buy this again, I will not recommend it to anyone, and will in fact, recommend avoiding it. Which is sad and frustrating, since, as I said at the beginning, the deodorant itself is a really good product. But this cardboard tube is -please insert the insulting word of your choice here.Honestly, either stick with a version in a plastic tube or buy a different brand.

Product great but they need to redesign the lip
I love this product and company. I tried this new packaging but...meh. After just a few days I wasn't able to put the lid back on because the cardboard lip was curling down and the lid wouldn't fit anymore. I just keep it on the couch inter without the lid now. I will be going back to the plastic unless they come up with a better lip design.
