Amazing!
These arrive thawed out, having been pre-frozen from fresh. Another review suggested to immediately re-freeze them and then use them from frozen. I was very sceptical of this idea, as I was worried that they would simply all stick together and be impossible to separate without breaking them when needed. This, however, isn’t so, I keep mine in the freezer all the time and just take out the amount I need each time, putting them straight into the wok or soup, depending on what I’m making. The flavour is amazing, the quality superb, and they cost a fraction of the price of the dried abominations you get in supermarkets. Would definitely recommend 100%.

Finally kaffir that tastes of kaffir
Sure the leaves were slightly yellower than if they'd been off the tree but compared to trying to cook with the flavourless dried kaffir these are out of this world. We vacuum sealed ours in small quantities then froze them. This has worked well too, the re thawed leaves still taste heavenly.

Not fresh as in the product photo!!
Photo description shows crisp fresh leaves. This is very misleading! They arrived quickly but were soggy and limp in a greenish and slightly smelly liquid. Promptly binned them as I did not know what else to do. Told seller I could not return them in the post and asked for a refund. Was not even polite enough to reply! Waste of effort and money. Advise avoid. Some reviews seemed happy with theirs though...

These revolutionise the taste of your dishes!
Pop these straight into your freezer as soon as they arrive and use at your leisure. The difference between using these fresh leaves and dried leaves is the difference between night and day. I use these in my pad thai and it has made it twice as delicious. Can't recommend these enough.

Transit time can be a problem
The product arrived promptly, sent via 24 hour delivery from a London address to a London address. However, even that transit time was sufficient to cause problems – I had to discard around 2/3 of the consignment because the leaves were plainly on the way out. The rest were worth keeping, but it wouldn't have taken much longer in the post for them to have headed the same way.Packaging seems to have been the problem. The leaves were placed in a sealed plastic bag inside a plastic envelope. If they could have been packaged frozen in an insulated container – just polystyrene, say – then I imagine they would have arrived in a thawed ("fresh") condition, but probably in a much better state.I'd have been willing to pay more for this service, but, bottom line, the leaves seemed good value for money as offered, relative to the cost of obtaining them in much tinier quantities via my previous supplier, Ocado. Even the surviving third represent good value for money in that respect, though it is certainly also obvious that they are thinner and generally less good quality that the Watts Farm variety that Ocado used to sell. Whether these problems are sufficient to make it worth risking the delivery again, and then spending a few minutes sorting just-beginning-to-rot leaves from the surviving ones, versus driving two miles to the nearest Thai supermarket, however, I'm not so sure.

Amazing quality leaves
Absolutely thrilled with these, so cheap and such good quality. Just freeze when you get them and they stay as fresh as when you first open them. Perfect for Thai cooking. Thaw in minutes. Mine were wonderfully green and not soggy at all. They look like they've just been plucked from a kafir lime tree, that's how fresh they were.
