I installed this is a 2015 Mazda CX5. The device came in very nice packaging and came with everything you need in the box, USB unit, wires, cable ties, foam covers and instructions. The USB hub you replace is an exact copy of the one in my car so once installed you wouldn't know you had replaced it except for a small phone icon on the unit.It was relatively easy to install. The hardest part is getting the USB unit out of the car as it has four clips holding it in. I pulled the front cover off the old unit with a hook tool and then used a flat head screwdriver to push the clips down. It was still hard to get it out but once out the rest is easy. There are YouTube videos with different techniques on how to get it out. Watch them and try the one you think you can do. Follow the the instructions that you get and you can't go wrong.It works perfectly and connects immediately. All the original Mazda controls work to control the CarPlay screen.This is a great update to a ten year old car which I would highly recommend.

Après une installation assez complexe (attention à bien faire la mise à jour du système Mazda Connect avant d’installer ce kit), ce kit permet de rendre le système compatible avec CarPlay et Android Auto, ce qui est beaucoup plus confortable que le système Mazda embarqué et vous garantit d’avoir toujours des cartes GPS à jour.

Well, Installation was pretty hard especially removing the older USB hub. Only drawback is touch screen doesn't respond with Android Auto but works perfectly with Apple Car play. It lags a bit when you turn on the car as the screen shows mazda logo for around 10 to 15 seconds. Previously with older hub, it loaded within 2 to 5 seconds. With Android Auto, It's pretty hard to search places with dial when you are driving. But Carplay works like charm. It's kind of blessing for Carplay users. Overall, I would recommend this to those who want Carplay in older Mazda models. Ensure that your system is upgraded to the latest version.Update: It worked well for almost one month and now it's keep disconnecting and restarting. Very disappointed. Now I need to turn off the engine and wait for 5 mins to get it back to function every time. Everytime this happens when you connect it more than 30 mins drive. I cannot even return it now.Update:Amazon helped me to reach the seller and the seller did send me a replacement part. I did upgrade my version to v74 from v70 and it seems running smooth now. Hopefully it won't make issues again.
