I picked up the ProDec 180‑grit finishing paper roll for the bathroom renovation and it’s earned a permanent spot in my decorating kit. At 5 metres long and 115 mm wide, it wraps neatly around my cork sanding block yet tears cleanly off the roll for hand‑held corners. On fresh plaster it knocked down ridges without scouring the surface, and on bare pine trim it left a silky finish that took primer beautifully—no visible scratch lines under the top‑coat. The paper holds grit longer than the bargain sheets I used to buy; even after a long session smoothing filler around the shower niche, it clogged less and shook clean with a tap. Roll format means no rummaging for a new sheet mid‑job; I just pull, tear, and keep going. One small note: the backing creases if you fold it sharply to get into 90‑degree angles, so I cut narrower strips instead of doubling it over—minor work‑around, not a deal‑breaker. Overall, for wood, plaster, and those crucial between‑coat passes, this medium‑grade ProDec paper saves both time and elbow grease. Highly recommended for anyone chasing that glass‑smooth finish before paint goes on.

3 stars for how long they last… but really for the price it can’t be beat. I used for sanding mdf before and after painting. I needed to use fresh paper for each 8 ft length and when you’re using a block that’s not a problem, but anything that it needs to be fitted into, this can be a pain. It’s cheap for a roll… hence the three stars.
