I Love This Pen
This is my second Space Pen. My first one was a black bullet without a clip, and I have no idea where it has gone. It was quite slippery and regularly sliding out of pockets so I bought one with a clip and I quite liked the look of the brushed chrome finish. It arrived even before the tracking realised it had, and in a small plastic presentation box.As with my previous pen, it worked immediately out of the box. I can't stand it when you have to find a scrap to scribble on to get a pen working. Even Parker cartridges do this regularly. In my line of work I am also regularly stopped on the factory floor and asked to look into something when I do not have my notepad with me. This pen jots a job number or part number on my greasy palm with no issues.Only last night I was in the loft having moved some boxes up there, and the wife passed me a cheap pen to label the sides of the boxes. Guess what happened after a few letters. Yep. Pen stopped working. You may think the Fisher pens are over-engineered with their pressurised cartridges, but you never really know when it will come in handy, and you miss them very quickly when you go back to that rubbish the wife buys from Pound Land in bulk. The brushed chrome finish is gorgeous and not at all slippery to write with. The pictures do not do it justice. The clip whilst small is quite stiff and gets a good grip on my back pocket or notepad. Hopefully I will have this pen for a long time. Considering I had my black one well over 12 years before I lost it (and it may still turn up) then I have no doubt this one will also do the business.

Better than a Russian Space Pencil!
I wouldn't be without my Space Pen!In my day-job I do an AWFUL lot of handwriting. Quite often this is in less than desirable conditions - wind, rain, snow, etc. I work in and out doors in Fife, so I get all four seasons well and truly flung at me.This pen will write on wet paper, without tearing holes in it. It will write when the temperature is too low for normal pens. It will even write over greasy spots or marks on the page. The ink is a good solid colour, and the nip runs smoothly. The ink lasts a long time - about the same as any other 'quality' pen refill. However, every inch of that will be good solid writing, with no scribbling about trying to get it to work. You know it's empty when one day, all of a sudden, it just stops. There's no fading out or anything like that. This is good, as you get every last drop out of the barrel, but it means it's a good idea to have a spare to hand. This is a barrel and cap design - the cap comes off and goes on the other end to use - so not ideal if like me you tend to put things down and not pick them back up again.I know there's the old joke about NASA using this, whereas the Russians used a pencil... however, in many situations a pencil is neither desirable nor allowed (the latter in my workplace), so this is useful, even here on terra firma.

Good Pen, Great Seller
I own several of these space pens, so I knew exactly what I was getting into when I purchased this. This model I like especially because it looks absolutely brilliant, and unlike the chrome versions, the brushed chrome is not prone to fingerprints. Writes extremely well, very smooth, and has a great feel in your hand. I had no issues with the clip as others might have had, it just stays in my lab coat pocket.I'm very impressed with the speed at which this product arrived to me. It came a full week before the estimated time, which was a very pleasant surprise. The product came as advertised.

Very nice design
Amazing looking pen and unbelievably small, but a bit on the heavy side though (size to weight ratio).Pen came in a nice case, the translucent white case shown in the photos. The case was a bit bigger in the pictures, but that was expected.Overall, extremely easy to write with, never had to ruin my page by scribbling all over it just to get it working, and yes it can write upside down, and in grease. One bad thing though, it is only chrome on the outside, the inside of the lid looks like its rusting, but that probably just bothers me as I have OCD.

Like a kid with a new toy
Ordered a few days ago and waited not so patiently for it to arrive.I have retired recently and taken up Bird Watching again. So I ordered a Bird Watchers Note Book and then thoughI know what will happen, I will forget to take a pen or pencil and it'sa bind in the rain to try writing something. So (Space Pen) how delightful is this, small before you fit the lid back onto it very smoothand will write in any conditions (Even the vacuum of space).Easy fit into the pocket.I would have liked a point to attach a string or something to it but still think it is wonderful. :->Go ahead and buy one you know you want to.Update Nov 2013Still love this pen.Bought a refill in case it ran out which is still as not done.A tale: Told my grandson then aged 6 that it will work anywhere, in space, under water. He said show me, so we ended up in the bathroom sink with a bit of cardboard under water and me writing his name on it.It worked without a problem. He was well amazed.Still not able to show him it works in space saddly.

Fisher Space Pen with clip
Great pen, i used to have one around 10 years ago, the titanium version, and someone stole it, GUTTED! so when i seen the Fisher Space Pen on Amazon it was a no-brainer, had to get another one, this time in Chrome with an accompanying clip, its a bargain for all the pen you are getting plus the delivery was quicker than estimated which i was chuffed about. All round a good quality product with excellent service, 5 stars and a hi-5!!!!! boom!
