Q: Do I need to buy transfer mask separately?

That's for Laser printing. Looked into that as well. I only have an Inkjet option to look at.

Q: I dont see any instructions. Do you need a press sheet?

If you have an image, you can peel off and press on to garment. No I don't think so ...this is for an Inkjet printer

You can if no ink or glitter is on it.
