Never been so badly screwed over by a tool
Was using this to put shelf mounting holes in cabinet panels. Got to looking and realized the front and back sets of holes were off in the vertical direction by about 1/16”. After investigating, it became obvious that the fixturing peg was out of center by 1/32”. Makes sense, as 1/32 short+1/32” long when flipped around adds up to the deviation I was seeing. It never should have left the factory like that. I’m going to try widening the holes and shimming it and see if that fixes the alignment issue. Normally Bosch makes good stuff, but poor QC on this one is going to force me to redo several days worth of work. Either purchase something else or be prepared to futz around to make it work.
