I purchased this dinner set because of a 'bad review' that said they held the heat for too long - well, this is a sign of a very good quality plate/dish so I popped them straight in to my basket and haven't looked back since! They are surprisingly heavy compared to the cheap dinner set I have previously been using and the glazing in fantastic on all of the plates/bowls. They do indeed stay warm for so much longer than my old plates so no more cold meals for me!

Usual Deny quality - this is a really heavy weight dinner set - ideal for everyday use. Actually bought for my daughter and she loves them. Tried Denby direct, JLP and google, but the price on Amazon through their Denby shopfront was really good (25% off) so snapped it up

Lovely looking plate set, you can tell that they are made to last, they feel good/heavy in the hand, the pattern is slightly different on them all proving that they are handmade, plenty of room in the bowls and the plates are perfect for a large dinner, we use the smaller of the two plates most times for dinner as are large enough, overall very happy and would purchase again.

Love the colour way of these plates and dishes. They are a bit heavier than expected from description but I am getting used to this. The plates have an edge to help stop spills, especially when your husband cannot see he is tipping plate. They wash well and look as good as when I first got them. Would buy again. Got these as bit smaller than my usual plates which were quite large dinner plates that never looked full and were difficult to handle. Keeping these do will be value for money

Got two sets over Amazon prime day,amazing price, quality has a very small defects. Which you only notice in the bowls on cleaning. There great as they can be sit in the oven to keep your food warm also dishwasher safe.

Due to the shape of the plates, they don’t fit very well in the dishwasher. To make them fit we’ve had to push down to bend the dishwasher rack. It’s also not possible to put them back to back, a space has to be left between each plate. It’s a lot of wasted space! They also get incredibly hot. You expect plates to get hot in the microwave but these get ridiculously hot, and stay far too hot for a long time. They are very heavy, much heavier than our previous Denby set. They’re so heavy that we’re worried about putting them all in the same cupboard. Using two cupboards has wasted space. They look nice but that’s where it stops. They are not practical. I’m regretting buying these.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I bought this as a present for my son. I have used Denby dinnerware for years and love it. It is not only beautiful but very serviceable. It does not easily chip, scratch or fade. My son was very pleased and there are quite a few matching pieces to add to his dinnerware in future.

Lovely set

Bowl chipped even before first use. Wife is very disappointed. Support chat is not very helpful at all, asking us to refund the entire set (12 items) instead of just replacing the one item that's broken. Also asked if we are happy with just a $30 refund when the whole set costed us almost $400. I would warn anyone who are trying to buy something like dinnerware from Amazon as they are not going to be very helpful when it arrives in a bad condition.
