I use it for my orchids.
I use this cartridge to water my orchids. It is perfect for this purpose. Orchids don't like tap water but zero water is perfect, they thrive on it.

Good to reduce TDS
I live in area where tds of tap water is around 300. After using it, tds dropped to below 5. But after 1 week of use, tds level was 11 to 13 and the taste changed. Not sure how long it's going to last but still its good because tds has really dropped. Brita filter was giving me tds of 250.

Test strip didn't work and water tastes fishy after a couple of weeks
Initially the filter seemed great and water tasted good. However, the stick that comes with the water to test it, did not work and I tried to contact the seller a couple of times to get a replacement but had no response. Now, after only having this a couple of weeks, the water has a fish smell to it!?

Great Quality for Better Water, But Consider the Capacity Trade-Off
This water filter jug has been a game-changer for me; it genuinely makes tap water much more palatable and removes as much dissolved solids from the water as possible, evidenced by their included quality tester, which tests my water at home at around 300-400ppm and 0ppm after a single filtering. The quality of the filtered water is excellent, and for that alone, it offers good value for money, as it makes drinking water actually tenable for me.In terms of size, the overall footprint of the jug is manageable, but my main observation is related to its capacity. The filters, while effective, are quite large and take up a significant amount of space within the jug. This means the actual usable water capacity is noticeably less than the jug's overall dimensions might suggest. For future ideas or if I were to make a second choice, I would definitely opt for a larger container to compensate for the filter's size, reducing the frequency of refills. The ease of use is straightforward โ filling is simple, and changing filters is hassle-free. The jug itself feels durable, suggesting decent longevity. Despite the capacity limitation, it still works fine and effectively delivers on its promise of better-tasting water.

Aquarium
Unlike most I have not actually bought this create drinking water, I have bought this for a couple of small aquariums.I have some rare fish and shrimp (Betta Hendra and caridina shrimp) that require very soft low PH water and am unable to get a RO filter.I had been going to the local pet shop which is a 40 minute round trip drive away to buy RO water 20 litres a time. I worked out that the filters cost about the same as buying the RO if I get 80 litres from each filter and save the fuel and time plus let me make it any time whereas I can o my make it to the pet shop on a Saturday due to work.Up to now I have been getting more than the 80 litres (probably 100-120) so it's actually been cheaper than buying the RO.The filter does indeed get the water down to 0 TDS and the creatures are doing well in it so it appears to do the job just as well as RO water would. One tip I have read about to extend filter life is to buy 2 jugs, when one filter starts going you can still use it as a pre filter before putting the water through the second newer filtered jug this extended the life of the second one significantly as it has much less to take out of the already pre filtered water

Amazing filtration - Terrible Jug
You are going to have a fun time trying to get the filter screwed in. No matter how many times I tried it would always try and cross thread. As I was twisting the plastic thread of the jug was stripping away sending microplastics everywhere. Once it was finally done, unfiltered water was leaking around the seal causing the TDS to be nowhere near the claimed zero. I wrestled with this for about an hour, before I finally clamped it so tightly I thought I was going to break it. Finally no more leaks at the claimed 0 TDS had been achieved. Sadly when you want to pour water, if you tilt too high, the entire lid comes flying off!I also have the Waterdrop Glass filter jug which is much higher quality, but doesn't give 0 TDS so depends on what's more important to you. There have been reports of these Zerowater plastic jugs leaking microplastics which Zerowater admitted is true. They claimed it was the way they are being washed. Because of this I've stopped using it for now until they come out with a glass jug. That said the claims about 0 TDS are true, and if that's all you're looking for in a filter this is the best you're going to get without investing in a RO system.

Amazing!
Best tasting filtered water ever! Seems even better than my old Berkey filter. And a fraction of the price. Highly recommend.

Lid design could be improved.
The lid is great as it is one piece and not like the previous one which had a rubber seal on the edge which kept falling out but the only complaint is it is difficult to lift the lid off as the knob at the top is very shallow so you have to prise it off from the front, so a better design would be more useful.

Great filter: tap water comes out completely purified. Pitcher itself is not very convenient.
Although there are no odors or impurities in the water that comes out of this filter, it is so tasteless, it is almost distilled-like. This filter does far better job than Brita or any other gravity filters I've used. The pitcher itself is not very convenient: you can only pour water out slowly, otherwise it may splatter / spill. The filter inside the pitcher is so big, the volume of the filtered water accumulated in the bottom portion of the pitcher is about two cups at most.

dificil encontrar substituto do filtro novo
Gostei do filtro, porem nao consigo encontrar o filtro novo ( ZP 006-4) para trocar o original que veio inserido

This Definitely Works
Havenโt tried the water meter yet but from taste alone I can tell it works. Without it the water from my faucet tastes like rocks. I even tried a Brita filter and somehow the water still had a weird taste. Used this and now no weird taste whatsoever.

A Good Small Filter for Hard Water
I bought the ZeroWater ZP-006-4 water filter three months ago, and have used it since then. So far, I'm quite happy with it.Our water comes from a well, and is relatively "hard" -- 300 ppm Total Dissolved Solids (mostly Calcium Carbonate). We get calcium carbonate deposits in plumbing, coffee maker, shower, sink faucets, and everywhere else that our water touches. We have been buying bottled water to use in our Keurig coffee maker for several years, so that hard water deposits don't ruin it. I bought the Zero filter specifically to "soften" our hard well water for use in the Keurig coffee maker, so we can stop buying bottled water every week. If you have well water in your home, this is a good option to remove hardness from small amounts of water. The Zero filter removes almost all calcium carbonate hardness from the water, and it comes with a digital tester that enables the user to confirm there is zero measurable hardness in the filtered water. (Thus the Zero name.) The filter is also supposed to filter out small solid particles (which I'm pretty sure it does) and organic compounds (which I have no way to know if it does or not). Our well water tastes fine straight from the tap, and tastes just about the same out of the Zero filter. To use the ZeroWater filter, you pour four cups of water into the upper reservoir. It only holds four cups -- not six. So it should really be called a 4-cup filter rather than a 6-cup filter. It takes 5-10 minutes for the water to flow down through the filter into the lower reservoir. Once the tap water has passed through the filter into the lower reservoir, you pour a small amount of the filtered water into a clean glass and test it with the included digital TDS meter, to make sure the filter is still working and producing "zero" water. With our 300 ppm well water, a filter lasts through 40-60 fills x 4-cups per fill = about 10-15 gallons of filtered water, before the filtered water TDS starts to show that some hardness is passing through the filter (meter reading above zero). No two filter cartridges have lasted for the same amount of usage -- thus the ranges above. That's economical for me, as compared to buying plastic jugs of "spring water" from the grocery store and eliminates the hassle of recycling the plastic jugs.ZeroWater recommends replacing the filter cartridge as soon as the hardness in the filtered water reaches 6 ppm. If your water has higher TDS than 300, then you would get fewer fills, and conversely if you have lower TDS you would get more fills. The filter can only handle so much calcium carbonate before it is "used up", and then it will pass the hardness through until you change the filter cartridge. We remove the filter cartridge and run the pitcher and other permanent parts through the dishwasher whenever we change the filter cartridge. That cleans the pitcher to control bacterial or mold growth in the always-moist/wet pitcher. You do need to pay attention when screwing a new filter into the upper reservoir, to make sure it threads in properly and seals tight so that tap water doesn't bypass the filter and leak into the lower reservoir. The first time I did it, the filter threads leaked and I had to empty it and tighten up the filter some more. That could be challenging for women or children with smaller hands, as it does take some significant force & grip to get the filter tight enough. I could see the water running down the outside of the filter cartridge when it was leaking. The filter pitcher build & fit quality is good. It all stays together like it should, and comes apart easily when needed for cleaning or filter replacement. The pitcher handle is comfortable to hold and use. Some reviewers have noted an odor from the filter and filtered water, but we haven't had that issue with ours.
