Duck pond with accessories

VERY GOOD BUT DID NOT REALISE YOU HAD TO PAINT IT

Much better than I expected

in all honesty, i could have done better with plasticard to build the duck house and walkway. In fairness the plastic used was robust and the mouldings did not have much flashing, but what you get is several unpainted pieces of plastic attached a piece of plastic (much like airfix) a couple of them are pond lilies, but are too coarse (i would recommend painting lilies onto whatever you use for water effect), 3 large fish (again i would paint them between layers of your water rather than use the supplied), 12 flowers which come in 2 unpainted parts; petals in a moulded circle and separate stems which they must be glued to, 2 rats, 2 snakes, 1 frog, 1 newt, 2 butterflies (the scale size of a duck) and 2 bees? (about the same size again), all unpainted (was expecting some ducks with the duck house but no), you also get some grass made from plastic that frankly is too coarse and flat to use anywhere noticeable, some undefined plastic weed which is again coarse, plastic, unpainted and to scale about 4 ft tall, you get a small bag of pebbles that could have easily came from your drive, some dirt coloured powder (which you could have just used dirt and saved the effort), a crinkly piece of clear plastic (presumably to be cut to be your water- i think ill stick to my woodland scenics realistic water), and finally a small square of static grass (approx. 4mm tall) to be ripped up to give clumps of longer grass. Instructions are in german? and if you want the printed bottom of the pond you'll need to butcher them to get it.in conclusion the level of detail and scale would keep a small child happy... but they wouldnt be able to construct it, and its easier to use other products to achieve a better effect.

This seems like a great product potentially- it's just a shame that the only instructions with it are in German and not English. The only sentence in multiple languages was "please take care to read the safety instructions. "
