The Brand: Cestrian watches were created by watch fans with over 60 years of retail experience. The UK team combined their passion and experience to shake up the industry and redefine luxury at an affordable price. Pushing back against the norm, Cestrian fought to bring class leading specifications and build quality to the market. Features once reserved for luxury watches with high price points, are now accessible for all; Time for the people. By focusing on the watches Cestrian are able to provide exceptional quality and affordable prices. This has been achieved by limiting avoidable costs at every turn and streamlining the supply chain. This is an automatic watch which is powered by the wearers movement or by winding the crown. There is a rotor that oscillates within the watch so that as the wearer moves their wrist, the rotor spins to charge the watch and stores the power into the mainspring. If not worn regularly or not being moved enough, you can manually wind the watch using the crown to power the internal mechanisms. This type of movement is typically found in luxury watches and makes it run without the need for any batteries. Review: This is a Quality watch! No, I mean QUALITY Watch! - I bought this as I was intrigued as to how well executed, the impressive list of features was done. First things First, the photos show a comparison with a Seiko King Turtle, so with the price point in mind, it's an unfair comparison. But compare we will! Both have a similar weight, Cestrian 180.9g vs Seiko 192.3g, and both have a Sapphire Crystal, a Rotating Bezel, Self and Hand wind, Date complication (although Seiko has Day as well), Stainless Steel Bracelet, and, as you can see from the photo's, a very similar clasp (again Seiko has the Diver extension as well), in fact, the Cestrian has a Seiko movement, the NH35A, which is an older and slightly lower-end movement than the King Turtles 4R36, but it's still a Seiko. On specs alone, they seem very similar, but there is a difference, everything about the Seiko is just that bit better. However, let me just say WOW, for the price you are paying there isn't a better watch you could buy, it feels much more expensive than it is, and the quality is superb. You are not quite getting Seiko level, but it is damn close, a lot closer than the prices are. All in all, you simply can't go wrong, if you are unsure whether or not to go for it, simply stop being unsure. I would not be surprised if we see an increase in price very soon, and depending on how much, it would still be a bargain. One thing that is clear is the packaging is nowhere near in quality, in fact, mine was broken when it arrived, I have not spoken to the seller yet so cannot feedback on any responses, but as their mission statement suggests, they simply have to cut some costs somewhere in order to make a good quality main product. I am sure, had the lid not been broken around the hinges, it would have been ok, but, don't let my experience with the box put you off, it could quite easily have been damaged in shipping. This is a great buy and an outstanding watch for the price! Highly recommended! Review: Excellent value for money given the quality specs - I bought this watch as it ticks so many boxes for the price - screw down crown, sapphire glass, seiko movement, exhibition back glass (so you can see its beating heart), great lume and ceramic bezel with smooth action. Great choice of dial colours. Please note the bezel works to the left only so not sure why one review said bezel doesn't rotate. It's stated water resistant to "300m" which should cover swimming/snorkeling/showering etc as long as the crown is screwed back down. As for SCUBA diving - use a computer or G shock unless you're a pro/serious enthusiast. My watch gains around 5 secs a day which is pretty much what you get with a daily use automatic. Note lug width is 22mm not 20mm as stated.

Give me a break... literally...
Final FINAL verdict: The watch endured a relatively low fall at the gym. Four to five feet max. Indices at 12 and 6 popped straight off and now rattle around inside the glass. Cestrian is a failed experiment, the quality is terrible. Buy a g-shock or a Timex for half of half the price. ZERO STARS. the 300m Cestrian dive series is back, picked up from the post office today, and back in perfect working order. Crown is fully fixed and working. No complaints. Huge chunk of automatic stainless steel dive watch back on my furry paw. Edit: oh dear oh dear. I noted the massive crown and wondered about the longevity of the accuracy and water resistance. Bad news, I'm afraid. The screwdown crown didn't last and now keeps popping out, therefore it now has zero WR. Was never that snug to begin with. I will have to navigate the warranty and return for service or whatever the process is now. Tinny sounding rattle off the bezel too. I will report back and revert to my original 5 star review if this can be reliably fixed but for now.... sorry, Cestrian. Original review: Arrived today. Had to pay some whack of money to get it through Customs, as it was delivering into Ireland from across the pond. Thanks Brexit! As to the watch: Looks absolutely top notch. Beautiful piece, stunning automatic movement, easy to set, seems bang on accurate. Took a punt because one review said the bezel was fixed, whereas Watchnation describe it as 120 click unidirectional which to my relief it is. Screw down crown and 300m WR which is essential. For mine the watch will be in the water at some stage and the timing function of the bezel will be used. Time will tell as to the longevity of the accuracy and WR but I certainly won't be anywhere near 300m just surface but in the freezing Irish sea. If it bugs out I will update my review! Couple of aesthetics to be aware of, if an issue for some buyers: dial is white but metallic white so can look very slightly cream or silver but not overly so. Crown is absolutely huge-normous. Biggest crown I ever saw, maybe that's to make it easier to adjust, who knows. Stuck mine straight on a solid black marine nationale strap. It looks like the bastard son of a Seiko skx007 and a Rolex explorer II Polar. In other words, very cool, and if you're actually using it as a tool watch, the price is unbeatable when matched with what you get. Very well done Watchnation.

Great Looking Watch
Firstly I've only had the watch for a few days but my impression so far is positive. The watch looks great and is comfortable to wear, it runs about 10 seconds fast a day which is expected with a automatic movement, the hand hacking all works fine and the 120 click bezel is spot on with all the markers. All in all a good looking watch added to my collection. Very happy 😊

What a fantastic find this watch is.
After looking for a white dive watch for some time, I'm glad I found this. To get a fully capable automatic watch with 300m of water resistance at this price is outstanding.

ESPERABA MAS

Good looking watch
Yes the crown is a bit larger than normal. But as you can see it doesn’t show as you might think. The picture of it in the box still has the plastic film on the dial and band. Well protected in the box as you can see. Just a simple movement of the watch starts the second hand to move, so my watch winder case easily keeps the watch wound. The bracelet is nice, no plans on changing it. Entry watch yes but I can see the price go up soon for what features it has. So not looking to break the bank on a white dial diver or diver in general, this might be the way to go. For the price with its features, I think you’ll be happy. The illumination is great.
