Does this have any rubber on the handle?

It looks like the handle is hard plastic. No rubber.

Does the grab end have any rubber ie want to know for picking up things like phone don’t want plastic scratching my phone?

There is no chance that anything you pick up being scratched. Phones, remote controls etc can be lifted with confidence.

The answer to your question is yes; I use the magnet at the tip, to pick up a bunch of keys, and the gripper for things like A4 paper, bottle of water, a book and many more. I recommend this item.

Is the grip strong enough to lift a tin (450g) from the top shelf of a kitchen cupboard.

I have tried lifting a tin myself, the grip is strong enough to grasp a tin, but when you come to lift it, it's just too heavy to keep control of and will fall out. Dangerous!
