It was relatively simple to put together, though you will need someone with some brute strength for certain parts and two people are better than one on other bits. Comes with two little bottles of conditioning treatment for tap water and green stuff, too which is great. The sides aren't rigid, but tension held cloth. Make sure you get the sides in the right way round, too or your portholes won't match up! (We had one upside down and had to partially disassemble to flip it!) Looks so impressive once it's running. Love this. Review: Great but a bit fiddly to install - Looks good and does the job.

It looks fantastic in our garden and the included pump seems to ...
I was nervous that this pool was going to look cheap and tacky, but I've been very pleasantly surprised. It looks fantastic in our garden and the included pump seems to be doing a great job of keeping the water clean (another area of concen on purchase was that the pump would be low grade). It's flat pack, and assembly is easy enough to follow though its not straight foward by any means. Assembling the top metal frame needed a bit of brute force to construct, and unfortunately the finish of the metal on the corners is razor sharp; it left me with a nasty gash in my hand as I struggled to connect the pieces together. Once that is all locked in place (at which point all sharp edges are locked into plastic corner pieces posing no further risk of injury) adding the liner and the rest of the supports is self explantory, and only slowed by a couple of fiddly fasteners. It probably took two of us 40 mins to assemble and fill so not horrific apart from those sharp edges. Watch for them.

Not very sturdy.
Not as good as the last ones I bought these slip into the water made from cheaper material i suspect.

I love it!
The box arrived and I was at first alarmed at such a medium sized box considering what this product was!! Amazed how well packed this thing was. Item is as described however the construction and build of this could learn some lessons from IKEA but once built and filled with water it is very stable. The frame support system is held in place by plastic sprocket push screws and some are difficult to get in - especially the cross members as the sprockets are not long enough to go through two pieces of metal. It does require some force to actually push the sprocket screws into place. The side and outer casing panels I thought were plastic - like the previous model but are instead tough weave material which is not an issue but does not give the same amount of protection should something sharp penetrate from the outside easily rupturing the inner pond liner. Not that this is likely to happen but if you have kids around then this could be an issue. This was bought when it was on sale for £180 and it is a very good bargain considering most water features cost the same amount for this. My local supplier is selling the previous model for £300! The water fall on top adds a lovely feature and the flow regulator off the pump can be adjusted to alter its rate of flow. The pond comes supplied with an internal 1400 filter which can accommodate a 5W UV Clarifier lamp to eliminate algae and green water and this is a very neat feature!!. It is not included btw! so you will need to order one which is designed specifically for the 1400 Blagdon filter. : Blagdon New Affinity Inpond 5W UV Clarifier - For Square and Rectangle Textaline Pools / ASIN: B005CK2V3M. Note that the UV filter lamp does not come with a plug unlike the filter pump. Very pleased and well worth the investment considering most local garden centres are selling last years model for £350! 6 weeks on and the fish are happily swimming around occasionally swimming up to the clear glass port hole front window which does look very cute! The additional LED dusk to dawn light mounted on top of the filter provides a very bright and crisp light output and provides a lovely glow to the pond at night. This again was a very nice feature to see. A true all in one complete pond solution. Well impressed!!

A good up grade
I had a half moon pond for 3 years and knew the product stood the test of time. My fish required more space as they had grown over the years, so I got the square pond. Easy to assemble, looks great and is safer than a pond in the ground with small children around. The one thing I would advise is a pond heater for winter use to keep the ice off. They are only £40 and cost only as much as a light bulb to run.

Artikelbeschreibung & Abbildung fehlerhaft
Artikelbeschreibung bzw. Artikelbild falsch/fehlerhaft.
