Zinus Kai Bamboo and Metal Platform Bed Frame with Headboard, No Box Spring Needed, Easy Assembly, Queen, Brown

This is the 3rd or 4th or so Zinus bed frame I've purchased and just like the rest, the assembly is easy to follow, it's sturdy, and it looks great. They're also easy to break down and re-assemble in case of a move. The way they use Velcro for the slats to stick to the frame that otherwise ALWAYS fall at some point on other bed frames and is a pain to fix, makes it so much better. They also have a sticky thing on the slats to stick the mattress to the bed frame so the mattress doesn't slide around but I never need to use it. I assembled the bed frame by myself and it took less than an hour. I love that they include a little ratchet in the hardware. All the screws screwed in easily to all the places they needed to go. It's not too heavy. I have a 12 inch mattress so it does almost completely cover the bottom slat on the headboard. The pillows on my 12 inch mattress pretty much cover the headboard. They must use a really thin mattress for the product picture because my bedding engulfs 99% of the frame and you can barely see it, so be warned if you want the bed frame to be visible but have a high mattress/fluffy bedding. I got this one because I had a really low profile frame from them before and I wanted to utilize under bed storage. This has plenty of room to put things away underneath. Either way I really enjoy Zinus's products and will continue to purchase them in the future.

Outstanding bed! Just the right size. Sturdy! Easy to assemble and looks great, too. I had some issues like other reviewers. Mattress slid so I put a layer of foam down between the frame and mattress. All good now! The frame’s too low to the floor for me so I added a thick foam topper so I’m higher up. No issues with slats falling out or anything getting loose over time. I had some difficulty assembling the frame as described but that’s a “me” problem. Got everything correct after a couple tries. The multiple attempts caused no damage. The wood slats took some rough handling during assembly due to them fitting in tight. Assembled fine as a single person with no help. Highly recommend! Especially for the price.

The assembly should have been so simple. But because of the directions using letters instead of numbers and the product pieces being identified with numbers not letters, it yielded confusion. What should have taken 30 minutes ended up taking over an hour with more head scratching than there should have been. Overall great piece. The box was severely damaged upon arrival and was taped up poorly. A few pieces fell out of the big hole in the box and got knicked up when bringing inside thebhouse...not worth returning over, but still unfortunate for a nice bed. All said, the bed looks nice and feels sturdy for my toddler.

Very easy to put together despite the overly complicated instructions (the parts are associated with letters but only stickers with numbers on the pieces so you have to look at a key) you could probably just assemble more efficiently without looking at the instructions. Looks nice quality even though it is simple and inexpensive. The slats are so much better that regular slats from IKEA. They go the full width of the frame and have Velcro to keep them in place.

This bed frame is quite sturdy. The materials are solid and they look like good quality. The bed is a decent height and perfect for kids or even adults . The only problem I had was putting the rails, the rails did not go in all the way which in concern they would come off. Also, the directions. The directions on the manual were listed as letters and the parts were labeled by numbers and not letters , which it was kinda difficult to assemble. Overall the bed was put together and we shall see if it last .

I've had this frame for about a year and a half now and it's been great. Incredibly sturdy, affordable and stylish. We got a minimal style so it's wood and black metal. Enough room to fit short storage totes out the like, and sturdy enough to support a mattress and box spring without issues. Overall comfort and sleep quality will ultimately depend on the bed that you sleep on but this frame won't hurt any

This bed frame is worth every penny. East to assemble, looks exactly like the photos. Arrived the next day, no damage. Zinus is a good brand.

Got this bed for our son to transition from his crib when he turned two. He absolutely loves it. Quality is good and instructions were easy to follow.

This is the perfect bedframe for our guest room! Arrived quickly! Lugged it up to the guest bedroom and began the task of setting it up. Building it solo was very easy! I was pleased with the clear instructions. The material feels like it is very good quality. Was very surprised and pleased with the included ratchet drive that made setup a breeze!!! This frame is exactly what I expected and needed.
